A cute, clean inn. The water smell known in this area was not bad while we were there, and the warm showers were great. Nothing fancy, but nice “sunset-like” quilt bedspreads and new carpet. Great location for walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The new owners are really putting their all into this place!! We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and it was very clean and comfortable. New carpet, new appliances/TV, and the location is right in the middle of everything. We walked from our room to Art’s, Cherry Republic, etc.
The check in/check out was all self service which was so nice.
The only thing I would mention is that the water doesn’t taste very good, so bring bottled water.
Will definitely be back!

Friendly over the phone interaction with a quick check in. The location is perfect with a few restaurants and a wine bear within walking distance. The room was clean, great water pressure in the shower, and soft carpet that I could tell was new, and a great price. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel was so cute, so was the town.

A whole new world! The new owners of this property are putting it on the map with physical improvements including, new carpeting both inside rooms and outside stairways. They are making repairs, planting flowers, landscaping, and they have absolutely great customer service! Our room is totally delightful and there are lovely outdoor seating areas where you can smell the pines and practically hear the waves on Lake Michigan just down the street. You can walk anywhere in Glen Arbor, location, location, location! We are still in the midst of our stay and are planning our dates at the M22 Inn for next year!
Walkability: Restaurants, beaches, shopping, tennis courts, canoe rentals, are all within walking distance of the property.
Food & drinks: The M22 Inn is within walking distance of all the restaurants in town and is right next door to, Cherry Republic.

Clean and really nice home away from home sorta place. Great location within walking distance to everything in Glen Arbor.
The owners are super helpful and went way out of their way to resolve some issues I had that were not their responsibility at all. I really cant say enough good things about the level of service. I stayed here on business but ill be returning for vacation.
Thank you M22 Inn for a great stay!

Perfect place to stay in town Glen Arbor. Good price for the off season. Convenient to the beach & bars/restaurants! Comfortable room, nice area to sit outside as the storms came in. Super easy check in. Manager kept in touch via text.
Walkability: Right in town so walkable to everything.

It's great to be out and about in Michigan in May, before the hustle and bustle. M22 Glen Arbor is a 6 star for us in our West Coast journey. We could walk to restaurants, grocery store and pickle ball was basically in the backyard. Wow! Perfect setting and the best town in the peninsula! Affordable, tranquil and no nonsense. Loved our time here! Thank you!

This was a last minute trip when I learned the northern lights may make a late season appearance in Glen Arbor. This location is right down town and minutes from the lake. The hotel is quaint, rustic and clean. It was a perfect base for late night aurora photography. Several restaurants open locally, but due to time of year, there isn't a lot to choose from. I received text when I was driving to the location to tell me my room was ready. Contactless check in, the key was on the table in the room when I arrived. A little unsettling as a woman traveling alone, I still did a quick search of the room. Not a lot of places to hide, still a concern. They had USB charging at the bedside, a small fridge for drinks and supplied all the necessary products for shower. This is the second property that I have visited and I have not been disappointed..... And I caught the Aurora! and sunset at the barn.

Recently had a change of travel plans that caused us to cancel our 2 night reservation at M22 Inn-Glen Arbor. Cancellation was 8 days prior to our scheduled arrival. Property's stated cancellation policy is 10 days or no refund. Shame on me for overlooking this. I had hoped that because our stay was in low season (February) we might not be on the hook for the entire 2 day charge...no luck. Cancel 10 days in advance or lose not just your deposit but all charges for all nights of your stay. Shame on M22 Inn!It's disappointing to see a small business in a small market with a policy like this that is certain to drive business away. We've vacationed in the Glen Arbor area for decades and are asked by friends/neighbors, from time to time, for lodging recommendations. We will not recommend the M22 Inn-Glen Arbor or any of the 3 other sister properties with the same policy.

Tried to cancel 2 night reservation (low season/February) 8 days prior to arrival. M22 Inn policy is cancellations must be 10 days or more in advance...shame on me for overlooking this. If less than 10 days, you lose not just your deposit but the entire amount for the (cancelled) stay...shame on M22 Inn. We've vacationed in Glen Arbor area for years. Disappointing to see a small business in a small market have a policy like this, guaranteed to drive customers who encounter it away, including me. We are often asked by friends/neighbors for lodging recommendations in the area...we will actively steer people away from M22 Inn & sister properties.

Simple, clean and a great location. Everything you need for a base to explore the area. You can walk to restaurants and shops. A first was the remote check-in via text. In you need of anything - just text and they answered quickly. Finally a place that doesn't change sheets all the time! Plenty of towels and if not enough - just text! Side note - if you have a Tesla, Art's has a Tesla charger and Leelanau State Park has an EV charger too.

We stayed here for a night while road tripping through Michigan. You can tell the property is aging, with creaky stairs and older bathroom fixtures. However, it was comfortable enough for us and the location right off the highway was convenient. The price is fairly expensive for what you get, although that seemed to be basically the going rate for a weekend night near the shore. Parking was free and overall we'd return on a future visit.
