Last week I was trying to find rain coats and mud boots for my grandsons birthday,two boys! There was no help to be found anywhere, so I went to the changing room counter, still no one around? i did find a guy who was able to point me in the right direction but then he was gone! I went back to the counter and picked up a phone there and pushed a few buttons. The next thing I knew there was all kinds of help, in fact three people!! Im kinda older, 67 yrs. and I explainded to the two employees that offered to help me what it was I was looking for and the size. They ; Beth and Erik where more than happy to take a few minutes and show me exactly what I was looking for. I noticed when you need some help and the workers are busy filling carts for others its very hard to get help. My mom used to work for Meijers in GR.and always told me if I needed help and there was no one around just pick up a phone and you will get help. I want to personally say Thank You both Beth and Erik for your help the other day and wish there were more people that would do the same. I do hope you both get reconized for this and recive a raise in pay! Just an older guy who needs some help now and then, Thank you very much. M.Sullivan a disabled 82nd. Airborne Division Veteran

I would give this place zero stars if I could. There customer service sucks, there is not one helpful person in that store. Their self check-out system is crap, you can't scan your bottle slips and they just tell you to go use one of the check-out lanes. This creates another problem, there is usually one two or three lanes open and they are backed way up. When going to customer service to offer suggestions, the rep told me, "maybe I can bring it up to a manager". That tells me it'll go nowhere.

The store is clean & well organized. However, even though store is open at 6am, their customer service dept doesn't open until 7am.

This complaint has been resolved. On Friday, March 11 I received a phone call from Thomas Twigg. We were able to return the product for a full refund. It is however sad that it took a trip to walmart, several contacts with corporate walmart, a negative Yelp and Google review and a registered complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get a refund. It was truly never opened and we did not take it out of our car except to return it. We will continue to shop at this walmart now. Their Great Value products are just that - A Great Value! Purchased a personal hygiene item (a commode) some time around February 21. I was told I could return it if it was not opened. Brought it out to the car and put it in. Ended up not needing it. Never took it out of the car until I brought it back in to walmart to return it. They refused to take it back. Spoke with someone at the return desk, spoke with a manager and a walmart coach and they all said no to the return. I contacted walmart corporate to complain. They told me store managers decide on returns and that they would file a ticket and I should get a call within three days. It has been 4 or 5 days, no call yet. Went into walmart today and checked if they had the commode for sale - they did. The item was in its shelf spot - backwards. I took it out and low and behold the seal on it was broken. Have been in contact with corporate and have emailed Thomas Twigg a coach at the store after the photos were taken - still no word. See the attached photos and SHOP AT MEIJER.
