Let’s be honest reviewing a place like this all depends upon the band you are seeing. I saw a great band and was happy with the sound and the overall atmosphere. Would see a band here again.

Nothing wrong with the place. We don't see many acts here but it's never an issue getting parked or getting in. Could use a bit more airflow in the main area...but it's not a deal breaker.

Nice venue medium sized was ridiculously hot upon 1st arrival, instantly sweating (-1 star) got better as night went on but could be much cooler.
Decent acoustics for the size.
They have limited seating first come first serve.
Good drink prices and super friendly staff!
Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance to make it an entire evening out.
I would come here agian.

This is one of the best venues I've been to in Michigan. Saw Anthony Green here and attended his VIP (which was amazing as always). Small, intimate club with convenient parking right next to the building. Friendly staff and reasonable drink prices. I had a great time and look forward to seeing more shows here in the future.

Love coming here. Intimate setting in a nice medium size room. Great drink prices and friendly staff. Awesome sound for both acoustic and full bands.

I'm a local, and I really want to support this venue, but after two shows (Billy Talent and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) were unbearably hot (to the point where artists were complaining and guests were sweating as if it were a sauna) I'm not sure I'll ever see a show here again. There is little to no circulation in this venue and like other reviews have said, it is extremely dangerous heat wise during sold out shows. If I remember correctly The Loving Touch is owned by the same people as The WAB, so them not caring about anything but profits honestly shouldn't surprise me. I'm not going to pay $30-50 to be miserable.
