The lady on the phone was very unprofessional and rude. Mispronouncing my name repeatedly and cutting me off. Asking me crazy questions like I'm being checked for fraud then tells me I have to bring my id before they fill my prescription. I tell her okay I'm on my way. She then calls me a few minutes later saying the pharmacist said they don't have the medicine that I need prescribed and to find another pharmacy. I've never had that happen to me ever. It really make the city look bad! Bring professionalism back please

This store is a rising star... not so bad, love the organic section and prices are not too overpriced and they run lots of specials; most of the cashiers and even security are friendly, love to see Roberto, who bags with precision : )... shout out to Antonia, Su Vine, and Jo, and Phillip who are very helpful : ), although its not stocked as well as other Kroger stores; they have the same quality produce as other Kroger stores even organic; thanks for opening up more checkouts.. a plus (management!), and keeping it clean is boosting shoppers morale; overall it meets the needs and I'm glad its within walking distance from where I live!

If you bring in a prescription and they tell you it will be filled the next day. It will not be filled. When you show up, you get to wait an additional half hour for them to fill it. This has happened to me multiple times. They also are not familiar with drug coupons.

It definitely not the worst I've been at. It has what all Krogers have, but just less of everything. I went to buy the mini pies, and there were none left. I ended up buying a full-size lemon meringue pie, and of I course, I bought the last one. The pie was fine, and so were the people interacted with. The place is a pig with lipstick. It needs a good overhaul and a deep clean.

They don't answer the phone, they don't do prescription pick up calls, very slow. Very inconvenient unless you are grocery shopping.

I love my krogers 642. They always take care of me. The pharmacy dept always go above and beyond. I'm grateful for my Ferndale Krogers.

What I like: they always have manger special vegetables in the produce and sales in the health food section. What I don't like: mothballs! I hate the smell. I guess they have mice/ rats( I've seen droppings), but just get an exterminator already. The smell makes me ill.

Great Pharmacy

I observed the same things the prior commenters have observed: Filth, overcrowding of aisles, lack of maintenance and bad attitudes. They've also implemented a shopping-cart-anti-theft technology which locks up one wheel and makes the cart unusable. I presume that the intent was to make this happen when a cart is removed from the site, but it activates before reaching the edges of the parking lot. This clearly is not a failing of the entire Kroger system; Kroger stores in white neighborhoods are efficient, clean & friendly. Ironically enough, the pharmacy itself is OK, but there doesn't seem to be an entry for the whole store, just this one titled, "Kroger pharmacy".
