Cute store but every time we have been in employees act annoyed we are there. Super unpleasant lady at the register today. I would much rather support the nifty things in traverse city than give a dime to this store.

Nice gifts and souvenirs if you're visiting in the area for every member of the family. Fun socks. Theme items if grandma, mom, sister or aunt collects say Bees or Beachy things. Soaps, jewelry, and more. Support small business.

Visiting from out of town and popped in this show while wandering town. So many fun items. Not sure what the girls name was who helped us today but she was as very kind, and helpful. Would recommend checking this shop out.

I went to Elk Rapids on vacation with a friend and we walked around the shops downtown. All of the other shops were amazing but in Nifty the owner followed around my friend and I the whole time. It was clear she thought we were going to try and steal something. We were extremely uncomfortable and did not buy anything because of it.

Cheap trinkets, that they ask you not to touch, only to find out they’re already broken. Very rude, young, untrained staff.

Our "nifty thing" kiddo is a fan of this place! So many fun & nifty things for her to admire and/or add to our yard!

At first this looked like a really cute store, but after we browsed for a bit the owner of the Store started getting impatient and saying rude things to us. She even rolled her eyes and shook her head when I purchased something and told her "thank you!". Then when my cousin was walking around holding a pair of earrings she was planning to buy, the owner snatched them from her hands and literally told her she was going to put them back.

The manager closely followed me around the store while I was trying to shop. She said it looked like I was stealing and she expressed how she didn't like the locals shopping in the store. Do not go here.
