I was in an accident in mid-July, I contacted a bunch of local collision shops and even by the end of August none of them responded to me. However a few weeks ago, I pulled into Gerber, and explained my situation. (extra thanks for Natalie, who was probably more frustrated for me than I was for myself) They were able to get me an estimate within the day, and an appointment by the end of the week. On top of that they finished the repairs 1&1/2 weeks ahead of the original estimate. Great work from great people, I can't recommend them enough.Thank you guys! Just picked my car up from Gerber's Clawson location and am genuinely impressed with the collision work that was done. Fit and finish are excellent, top notch. I've been in car dealers for nearly 40 years and doing factory show car builds for nearly another 10 years and believe me I have seen it all. Very good and VERY bad. Gerber Collision is as good or better than any shop I have seen. Dan and Natalie are SuperStars too. Never heard of a shop giving scheduled updates by phone but these guys do. No need to go anywhere else they are the best I have seen. Thanks to all at Gerber Clawson!

This team is EXCEPTIONAL! I knew the moment Natalie answered with her warm and upbeat voice that this place was special. She has a unmatched commitment to customer service which is rare to find. It was obvious that Dan was also dedicated to excellence and was great with communication throughout the repairs. Additionally, Gerber finished 10 days (!) ahead of schedule even though extra parts were needed! They truly did an incredible job. My 20 year car looks brand new! The team also went the extra time to give the car a thorough cleaning, which was the equivalent of a detail. As I was leaving, Kyle came running up to share that my engine light came on and Natalie reminded me of a recall on airbags. My sincerest thank you to this outstanding team of real people. As a business owner in the small town of Clawson, MI I try to support our local businesses.I had a repair estimate scheduled for 3:30pm on Wednesday and unfortunately wasn't able to make the appointment so I called to see if I could come in on Thursday morning between 8-8:30 am and I was told no problem.At 8:30 on Thursday morning I entered the front office and the very rude woman behind the counter asked if I had the sprinter van and I said yes and she said your appointment was yesterday you need to reschedule. She then said we don't do estimates on Friday. I replied I guess I'm in luck it's not Friday, It's Thursday and I was told I could bring the vehicle in today. She then asked the gentlemen in the office who told him (referring to me) he could come in today and a gentleman spoke up and said he did she then proceeded to say oh well you will need to reschedule.Based on my experience with the front office personal, I can't believe it's any better in the repair shop. My suggestion is to find another repair facility that's not national and support a "local mom and Pop business".

If I could give negative stars I would! I am so disappointed with this company. After scheduling an appt, I went to confirm the time the week of my appt and they had never finalized it in the first place. I was upset but willing to give them a second chance and scheduled a second time. I came in to find that they didn’t schedule the appt AGAIN! The woman at the front desk tried telling me I must have contacted another city even though I have phone call history with the correct company, phone number, and location, talking to them for multiple minutes each call. Tl; dr, clearly a scheduling issue going on with this company and I am super disappointed as I wasted a month of time waiting and 30 minutes in their waiting room.

Filed a claim through my insurance and presented to this local business for claim evaluation. I was told the soonest they could get me in for repairs was two months due to delay in parts. I came in the scheduled date and was told my parts still had not arrived and they had "called and left me messages" to reschedule that never happened. I was then re-scheduled to come in two weeks later. I called them again and was told my parts still were not in - over two months after my initial evaluation! I called my insurance who reached out to Gerber and turns out they never even attempted to order my parts but my insurance had already disbursed funds for the repair. I was lied to every step of the way while they had money from my insurance company. Extremely disappointed and untrustworthy!

I was shopping around for a windshield replacement. I went in to Gerber on 7/15/22 and spoke to Natalie, she was very knowledgeable and assisted getting my windshield replaced that same week! Very professional and helpful. She's a keeper! Thank youService: Auto glass repair

I was trying to have my car repaired. They insisted they set a drop off appointment, but we were not provided this time. When we arrived after the time they told me they would have to reschedule the whole repair. Yet we did not get a text, an email or call with that time. (WE reconfirmed this). This is after they cancelled the first appointment saying they could not get the part, however they told my husband they could have the part because they already confirmed the dealership had it. Most likely they forgot and then the part had to be ordered. They did not once apologize for any mix up or confusion or that they could have made a mistake and not notified us of the time. They could also have chose to provide good customer service and checked in the car. We are not going to use this company. Obviously having our business was not cared about. So sad. The attitude of the manager and woman who checks in was one of being unhelpful to resolve the situation and complete arrogance. We cancelled our glass repair as well

The staff here is great! Exceeded any expectations I had! Everyone I talked to was polite and we’re very helpful! They worked with me scheduling-wise for my situation and made a quick turn around for the repair! There were no hiccups along the way and when I picked up my car, they eased and vacuumed it! Unexpected!! My car looks great!! I would recommend them to anyone who needs body work done!! Will definitely be a returning customer!! Thank you!!

Very professional and helpful. They helped my family with the entire process of our claim. I lived almost 3 hours away from them and they walked me through. The staff was supportive and empathic which was exactly what I needed. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone and would use it myself if I lived closer. Great job everyone at Gerber, thank you for your understanding and going over and above to help me and my family.
