Purchased a drain snake from Harbor Freight. First of all the thing is a piece of cheaply made junk! It broke within 3-5 mi it’s of use. The , upon trying to return the snake, I was denied with an attitude, and handed a stupid piece of paper with a website to contact returns. I wasn’t handed this paper when I bought it! Any and all other tool and supply stores in the area would retur. The item on the spot! One of the many junk tools they sell and do not honor the reurn when broken. I’ll never buy another product from this store if they don’t honor a return for defective equipment after the fact. So, what if you spend $1k on a generator?!? Or $150 on a telescoping ladder… Keep your junk, I’m done!

They are facemask nazis, other than that the store is clean and they have a nice selection of inventory. Harbor freight as a whole sucks for getting rid of the coupons and the prices keep going up which is a reason I've only been like 3 times this past year rather than 20 times. Update 9-5-24 they are slow at helping you check out but they stalk you when you walk up and down aisles. They usually have what you are looking for in stock though

I had questions.
Steve had answers,
and patience,
and cooperation
and respect!
I am so impressed and thankful.
I moved (twice), changed my phone number, had 2 different email accounts, and could NOT get the app to work. Oy.
He walked me through the tech issues-I need to start all over on that, but he checked for the product i was interested in and was so very helpful with operating issues and questions I had.
I'll be in tomorrow.
I'm really gr8ful for his time, effort and energy.
Give him a raise!

If I could give it zero starts I would. My mother went to return a generator. Which she did not know it was a non refundable item due to her language barrier. So she approached an older lady with short grayish hair to ask about the return. She was told it was a non refundable item. My mother then told her it was never used and unopened. Then the employee raised her voice at her and told her IT WAS NON REFUNDABLE. I called to file a complaint with the supervisor was told the lady just has a “loud” tone. Which I find not to be true because the same tone was not used during the first interaction. I find this behavior to be extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I understand language barriers are complicated but there is no need to be rude!

Engine hoist came in a box that was falling apart. Returned it after not using and the store manager threw a hissy fit saying “that didn’t come from my store like that”. Little on the grumpy side but supervisor and cashier were great.
