We went to several places to learn more about different options for replacing our deck handrails. Builders First Source was by far the best place! Chad was very knowledgeable, explaining different options to us. They have examples of multiple styles in the store, so you can see the actual, full-size choices. They were great to work with!

Rudest people that I have ever spoken to(JEFF). Goes right along with the contractors that they sell materials to. Take your money across the street to Home Depot, at least they have a good customer service.

I'm from out of state and needed to order some tile for my grandparents who live in Michigan. It was challenging due to being out of state but Kris went above and beyond to meet my request. He not just only followed up but he showed compassion due to the urgency of the project. Kris has an ultimate level of understanding his customers, he is a rare individual that goes above and beyond. He is so knowledgeable!I also needed to place an order for border that I forget to order while I was in Michigan, so I went with his judgement. It turned out great! I would highly recommend Builders Source and Kris!

Good products but extremely expensive. I got some fiberon deck boards at hershberger's pro hardware for half the price that they wanted.

I was hired to resurface a deck and do some handyman work on a cottage on Lake Mitchell. As a licensed builder in the Lansing area, I was in need of a local lumberyard to get my deck materials from. Poor customer service, one employee does not return calls. When he says he will, but does not. We waited almost a week. So we bought three garage doors from someone else.
