Love this place! Great selection of all eras. Furniture, art, glassware, lamps, Ect. The owner was very friendly and even helped carry the items we purchased out to our vehicle. Very reasonable prices. We are from out of state and will 100% visit Dean Antiques on our next visit.

Beautiful store, with some unique finds. Dean is engaging and knowledgeable about so many things, as well as a great performer, played the piano and sang for us, lots of fun! If you are in the area, it’s a must stop in place.

My boyfriend and I were exploring downtown Buchanan and decided to stop in here just to look around for anything that we might find interesting. Dean Antiques is full of niche paintings, lamps and furniture but, unfortunately, I don’t feel right spending my money here.As we were walking around, we heard the owner talking badly about other store owners on the block. In a community as small as this one, and in a time where those owners are just trying to keep their head above water, it’s shameful to make such remarks.The owner’s friend made a misogynistic remark about how “all over weight women in general are like that” so my boyfriend and I left. I calmly told the friend on our way out that their “opinions were inappropriate.”In summary, I disagree wholeheartedly with this business’s practices and will not be back.To the owner: If someone isn’t nice to you over a hundred times, I’m sure it’s more beneficial to look inside yourself rather than putting that person’s business down in front of strangers.
