“The facility and staff at the Bloomfield Township Planet Fitness (@Maple and Telegraph) are first rate and highly recommended. They go above and beyond the call of duty. I saw one of the more experienced staff members show the younger ones how it’s done—he helped an older customer out to her car after her workout. Not with a “hey, look at me” way about him, but a quiet and sincere concern for his customer. Of course, he didn’t have to do that, but he did. Seeing that made me a customer for life. They are also right on top of everything (fixing broken equipment, refilling empty paper towel dispensers, cleanliness, etc.). I really like this place.”

“Mueva Fitness is a great place to work out. The staff is friendly and helpful, the classes are fun and challenging, and the atmosphere is positive and motivating. The instructors are very knowledgeable and definitely can help if you need to modify the workout ao it ia the best workout for you. I've been going to Mueva for about a year now, and I've seen a huge improvement in my fitness level. I'm stronger, more flexible, and I have more energy. I also love the fact that Mueva offers a variety of classes, so I can always find something that I enjoy. If you're looking for a great place to work out, I highly recommend Mueva Fitness.”

“This was my first week. And I must say I Love it. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I was so nervous at first. But the instructor’s are so patient with you. And the other ladies in the class are so kind and helpful. I work full time , so I think I will start off with 2 days a week. “I love Barre Code! I attend classes at the Royal Oak and Brimingham location. Love there are tons of options of classes and the Birmingham location has a Kid's Room which really helped me to get back into working out after having my daughter. The instructors and staff are always friendly and they really make a point to greet each person by name and get to know them. I also really appreciate that I may go to multiple Barre classes in a row and each one will be different, you are not just taking the same class on repeat.”

“I dropped in at New Species while I was in town for a week. The coaches and members made me feel welcome and it was so nice to have a place that felt a little bit like home. The entire community was friendly and supportive. I loved the warm-ups and programming, and their facility has everything you could need. “All the positive reviews of this place are legit. I've been there about three and a half months and it has been a great experience and it has absolutely been worth every penny. Justin designs a workout for you based on your skill level and abilities, shows you how to do the workout and then monitors you as you do the workout on your own to give you constant pointers. It's almost like the very best parts of personal training without the annoying high pressure sales job. It's also a really great environment. Everyone at the gym is welcoming and friendly regardless of your abilities or experience. Cannot say enough good things.”

“This is a true one-of-a-kind facility that you won't find anywhere else.The Owner and Staff: Steve is an awesome fella and takes pride in operating this facility but constantly improves the equipment. He is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.The Facility: RPG is small garage-style gym but boasts a huge variety of strength equipment, racks, barbell weights, mono-lifts, deadlift platforms, and specialty equipment manufactured by professional brands (Rogue, EliteFTS, Westside, etc...see website for full equipment list). The racks include both bumper and iron plates. Members are aloud to use chalk on the barbells.Features: The gym features a chalk-wall of personal lifting records, a Hall-of-Fame wall, and merchandise for sale. The stereo systems keep the vibe up high; no need for headphones. The gym and its coaches have a very active on social-media. You will also find several competitions hosted here throughout the year.If you are a prospective member: I'd like to mention that anyone can join here; you do not have to be a competitive athlete to work out here. However, this is a niche gym and may feel unorthodox at first compared to big-box commercial gyms. If you are new to barbell training, it can be intimidating at first but they have coaches available and offer personal and group training sessions. Currently there's a good mix of men and women members. Everyone at this gym is focused on their own fitness goals but all share the desire for more strength. You are inclined to do your best here. Great place!”

“PIT Fitness changed my life! As a mom of two young boys and a very demanding career, I wasn’t sure if I would be able in incorporate a regular workout routine with my busy schedule. “This gym is awesome and for any fitness level. Everyone is made to feel super welcome no matter where you are at in your health journey. The coaches and owner (Amanda) are great and not only program great workouts but are also available to help program with nutrition plans (which is all included in your monthly fee). There are many different ways to modify the workouts so don't ever feel intimidated to walk in. My only regret is I wish I would've started sooner :)”
