I’ve had great experiences every time I have dealt with them. Gabe, Jeff, Sherri, etc.… They are all amazing. They treat you more like family and go out of their way to help. Gabe’s wife, who I think is also a pharmacist, volunteered and dropped my prescription off at my house. That’s definitely not normal and you won’t get there at CVS. I’m very thankful for Village Pharmacy…

I had a poor experience getting mine and my husband's covid boosters through Village and cannot recommend them.The website does not function well; it requires several fields but jumps around erratically so it's difficult to find them, reloads itself seemingly without warning, and the prescription coverage information it requires is not laid out in a user-friendly manner. I'm 30 years old, been using computers my entire life, and it took me 25 minutes to fill out the form for my husband's booster. I will say he had no problem getting his booster, other than a long wait.This same website also allowed me to make an appointment at 4:30 on a Saturday; the store closes at 4. I found this out by pulling up to the store at 4:15 this past Saturday for the appointment it took me an inordinate amount of time to book. Why would your website accept appointments for after you close? Makes no sense.When I tried to re-book for a time the pharmacy is actually open, the website refused to accept my typed signature. I called to ask if they could book me an appointment over the phone or give me any advice on the website; they were profoundly unhelpful. At that point I gave up, I'm not going to spend more than an hour trying to get a booster I can walk in basically anywhere and get. I wanted to patronize a local business but they sure don't make it easy for you.They also don't bill correctly, as I found out when I went to a different pharmacy tonight to get my own booster. Village billed my prescription coverage for my husband's booster on 12/5/21 under my name and information (I am the primary but I was not the patient in that case, obviously), so my insurance rejected what looked like a second booster for me tonight 12/7/21, when in reality he got one and I got one. CVS on Southfield Rd was extremely courteous and billed it out separately so that I was still able to get my shot, all I have to do is follow up with my insurance so that my records are correct, but I certainly won't be trusting Village with any prescriptions in the future.**ETA: I will be happy to call the owner to discuss my experience, as he suggested below. I don't believe that CDC requirements have anything to do with a poorly designed website. Does the CDC require you to offer appointments until 6 pm even if you are not open at that time? If it doesn't work well, don't use it. Or offer the option accept appointments over the phone**

I don’t know if pharmacists understand the impact they make in someone’s life - in my case putting me off for four days to follow up on my medication, even after repeated phone calls... and then deciding not to try to bill insurance inspite of our initial conversations... has had a terrible impact. Please try to be up from with patients instead of playing these games.
