I always have a good experience when shopping at Hollywood Market, fresh meat, fresh produce, deli wide range of select meats and cheese, hot food is delicious.

Meat is really good quality and cuts. Best part of this store for sure. I've had good, fresh produce, but several items are pre-packaged and my preference is to select each item myself--can't do that here. The only awful item were seasonal chestnuts. At $10/pound you'd expect they're good. None were good. Some food items I'm pleasantly surprised with. Like other raters, they have one rude longer-term young man cashier. I try to avoid him. Overall a pretty good small grocery with mostly good items. I go there with modest expectations.

I get why the prices are so expensive due to Union members and everyone earning a solid wage, but some of the stuff here is way way way overpriced. Rao's shouldn't be 10$ for a jar of spaghetti sauce when it's 5.99 at Meijer.The other issue I have is, the condensed milk is all expired by over six months as of this publication. Ask me how I know? Please take better care of your canned selections.

Nice layout. They have gluten free gravy. They also have a 4-pack of 12% dog fish head brown ale for $14..nice..Pro: hardly have to wait at registerCon: much pricier than Kroger

Best meat anywhere! We love the thick NY strip steaks, especially when on sale. We never eat steak out because it's never as good. The stuffed pork chops are fabulous.

2 stars is for the NOT so friendly employees at checkout. Most of them are downright mean spirited. I don't expect the brightest people at grocery stores but management should put in training in basic human etiquette.

Hollywood market has always been a classic market place to shop, but today was a much different experience. The guy at the meat counter serving me got angry (for whatever reason that I am unaware of) and threw my chicken wings at me after he bagged them up, rolled his eyes and walked away. I wanted to give no stars, but I gave one because the manager (and cashier) that I spoke to were helpful. But if these are the type of people working in this establishment, I won't take my hard earned money and spend it at Hollywood if the workers think that being disrespectful is cool, especially when there are more stores in the area with better prices. Lesson learned.
