I took my GUCCI purse that was damaged at the lower bottom of the purse on both sides that Gucci couldn’t even repair. I thought I was going to have to throw it away. I took it to Bloomfield Shoe Plaza and Matt looked at it and said he couldn’t make any promises and that he would see what he could do. Matt called me a week later and said it was ready. The result was outstanding! I couldn’t believe it. The damaged bottom was removed which made the purse smaller. I loved the smaller version better than the original. I am so happy with the result. Think again before you throw purses away that you paid good money. Call Matt at Bloomfield Shoe Plaza for his opinion and expertise.

Pleasant quick, and the big thing is honest – he could show me where two zippers were broken and he did not charge me and he did fix the other one beautifully. It’s a wonderful place to take things. She also fixed a nice piece of luggage for a very reasonable price it’s a nice place to enter. You can see all the respect and integrity here.

I took in a pair of leather, women's ankle boots that needed polishing, $20; rubber heel protectors (base, 2.5mm x median, 3.5 mm; tiny), $20; and full insoles, $10. The polishing was nice. The heel protectors each had 3 staples that are destined to scratch wood floors as the rubber wore down. The insoles, $10, only covered the heel. I asked the owner that a full insole, as previously contracted, be inserted. I got back a dirty, gritty piece of waste that only met the requirement of covering the full interior of the shoe. $50 for a polish -- which now has some glue stains on it -- a pair of tiny, stapled heel protectors and an insole made of repurposed trash.

Amazing amazing!! Such awesome service, price, and such sweet staff!! I was on a time crunch the week of Thanksgiving, I needed my leather shoes buffed and a bag repaired and I needed it in less than a week, got them back after just two days, one of which was Thanksgiving!! So unexpected, but also completely expected because I've heard nothing but good things about this place!! And the price, blew me away with how reasonable it was!! Will definitely come back, this is now my only repair shop!! Thanks so much for awesome service and an awesome price!!

Do NOT go to this place! Save your money and shoes for somewhere else. They have the sign on the window that says clean UGG shoes. So I brought mine in. But he did such a shitty job. He dyed the inside of the shoes to red which is supposed to be a nature creamy fur color. And told me if I'm not happy with the work he can CUT the fur out! Excuse me?!! The outside was bright red color, right now is pinkish.. still charged me $28. I can do a better job with UGG's cleaning set. My the other pair of SW boots that I brought in together for cleaning were NOT ready after they called me to go pick all my shoes up. Now I have to drive 20 minutes there again. Miss Frank's in Birmingham.. had used them for 10 years, never had any issues. wish they didn't close..

I received an older, used Louis Vuitton suitcase. It's in pretty bad shape, but definitely want to use it. The first place I thought of was Bloomfield Plaza Shoe Service. Emily was so nice and helpful and Matthew (I think the owner) was very upfront about what needed to be done. I can't wait to see how it turns out!!! Thank you!!!

Sorry, had to edit my review. The "great job" I thought Matthew did held for a total of 48 hours. It was hole in the Uggs and I paid him to fix it. But two days later, the fabric as peeking through the hole again. Matthew didn't even offer me a refund. So my money was wasted. Disappointing.
