“This evening, June 3, 2023, I had the delightful experience of making a purchase at Gazelle Sports In downtown Birmingham where I was assisted by the most patient, tolerant 16-year-old absolutely adorable young man who was none other than Asher. I had no idea of what I wanted other than OnCloud tennis shoes as my neighbor had a pair and I thought they were "cool." Sweet Asher patiently brought box after box of tennis shoes for me and when I asked that he choose the pair for me he did exactly that and I wore them out of the store. Fifty-three years separate Asher from me in chronological age, but he treated my indecisiveness with utmost kindness.
