“Super cute shop. Lady who helped us was super friendly and helpful. I would go there again . Had tons of spices, teas and coffees. Was connected to another shop that had tons of wines and hard ciders even let us try a hard cider that was so good. Would 100% recommend..”
“A local classic. The "Judy" has been my go-to since high school too many moons ago. It's pretty much the same, aside from thinner bread and maybe thinned out ingredients; but the flavor is the same and the dressing makes it! I still crave it and get it whenever I can. You really can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches! The market is modest and quaint - I don't think it's changed a bit in over 25 years. You can find interesting ingredients and food items, so it's fun to peruse while waiting for your order.”
“A couple years back I was here with my sisters getting some snacks and drinks for a canoeing trip down the Betsie. They have a great selection of just about everything name brand, but honestly that's not why I'm giving this place 5 stars. The real reason is for the service I received. I wish I could tell you the name of the man that rang me up that day, but he was the nicest and funniest guy I have ever met in any sort of retailer, whether that be a gas station or a Tractor Supply. This man was making the absolute best out of the job he had, making small talk that didn't feel like small talk but rather a genuine heartfelt conversation, cracking jokes and telling stories of his own. I was wearing a Ferris Beuller shirt, and he made conversation about the movie itself and some trivia regarding the filming, along with conversation regarding our canoeing trip and our weekend plans in general. The whole experience only lasted probably about 5 minutes at most, but they were truly magical. I have no idea if he still works here or not, but regardless of where he is now, I hope he's still living his best life, because boy was he certainly doing just that back in June 2017.”
