I cannot rate these people highly enough.First, they were the only ones that actually let me get everything done online, even got a price, all in under 5 minutes. PODS & PackRat required you call to complete & get the price. (Is it 1998 still?) That was 45 minutes - each - I'll never get back (and all their various charges, oy!).They do the pod thing, too, but I was uncertain how much space I needed so, the trailer option fit the bill perfectly. You fill it and pay by the footage used. Simple. I needed 18' it turns out. Cheapest by far.I had a move planned from Florida to Metro Detroit. The trailer drop off went great, the driver called about 60 minutes before & again about 5 minutes out. Very sociable, friendly, very busy, too. Dropped a 28 footer exactly where requested. (Friday afternoon 9/15/23)We loaded it Saturday & Sunday, they picked up on Monday. Trailer was in Detroit that Thursday (3 days transit instead of expected 5-7 business days). It made Michigan before I did (I had a few stops).Then my apartment fell through. I call them and they were so chill on holding it since it wasn't actually due there until the weekend anyway. Shifting gears, I arranged a storage place, then one quick call to U-Pack got the trailer dropped off right outside my unit on Friday(9/29). That driver called me to confirm the address and storage space unit #, which he had already checked with the storage facility operator. They picked up the empty on Monday.On top of all that, the price was exactly as quoted in the beginning, no additional fees at all.I cannot recommend them highly enough. In fact, I'm going to apply for a job with them once I actually get settled in Detroit.

This company and their staff were perfect from end to end. Move out of State from Michigan to Florida and they have been wonderful and their workers seem to know what to do which parking these trailers in driveways I would consider difficult but their drivers were very good and helpful.

They honestly were better than pods and pack rat in pricing and service. The delivery drivers were nice and helped explain any questions we had and were the most affordable option

U pack is best for long distance moving. Reasonable price and on-time delivery. I used relocube, it looks small but I surprised to see lot of things fits in it. Wonderful service and responsive customer care.

U-pack has professional team and saves lots of money for out of state moving. Kevin is an efficient dispatch manager from Auburn Hills, Michigan. He did his job perfectly even under pressurized situation and when things was not going as planned. From Wisconsin Milwaukee side certain things need to be improved. We got cool driver from both end. Thanks to the entire U-pack team to for doing their job perfectly.

Overall great experience but not without some pointers I can provide. Keep checking prices as they can be volatile. I figured it close to the same price a renting a truck and driving with the cost of fuel. So close, it was worth a few less cubic feet of moving area.My origination driver dropping off and picking up was spectacular. High degree of personal and professional care. The destination driver shook the box a bit much for my comfort - you raised it higher than needed so he could see under it and tipped back and forth - bro - it's a fulcrum at work - higher it goes the more travel distance in the back and forth tipping.Pro tip. Pad, pad, pad. Some stuff was scuffed but I have to own that as a padding failure. Were I did pad properly, zero issues.Storage Fees - They significantly beat their website estimates for travel time and wanted to charge storage at the destination. I had to call customer service (who was wonderful) and they worked it out. They say no added fees, hidden charges, but watch out for storage time that is in the contract. Again customer service worked it out so I'm happy to give them a 5 star review.In the end, I'd use them again. I have no issues with recommending others mindfully check them out and read everything. Compared to other stories, I think I came out excellent.It was awesome only having to drive my car on a DIY move (no company reimbursement). It was awesome having driveway to driveway experience. It was awesome I didn't have to be here for final pick up. On pick up, a pool builder blocked my driveway. I had to call and reschedule their pickup. It wasn't a problem. Super awesome staff all the way around.

What a great experience. I investigated various ways to get furnishings from Detroit to Des Moines... saved about $400 using U-Pack over Pods or UHaul crates. They dropped it off as planned, picked it up as planned and delivered it as planned. Perfect! I paid the extra $250 to guarantee delivery on a certain date and it was worth it. The moving crates are a bit smaller than I expected (true to their stated dimensions...I am just not good at imagining sizes) so I was glad I ordered 2. I love their policy that if you order 2 to fill up, but only need 1, they will not charge you and just pick the empty one up when they pick up the filled one. Good communication: texts about when deliver, pick up, arrive, etc.

U-Pack was amazing to work with. I was so annoyed with all the other companies trying to up sell me or giving false pricing. There are no games or gimmicks with U-Pack. The people I worked with were always so incredibly nice and helpful. Our move even changed and they were easy to help us change and wait until we were ready. I am so thankful for U-Pack and would recommend them for any move!
