FIX THE KIOSK. There’s only one, and it never works. Incredibly rude employees. Long lines with apathetic clerks who are often flat out wrong and a manager who uses her power for the sake of being powerful. And once, while I waited in line, a man yelled at me “my time is more important than yours” and no one said or did a thing.

Pretty impatient and aggressive

They just hang up on people here. Make sure to go in person. If you can't make it due to personal circumstances, you are screwed.

Long waits and customer service reps that clearly do not want to help people.

Deborah is actually the worst employee I've seen at a post office
She will let customers line up so she can get upset there is a line and be upset with customers..... like you caused the line by not taking customers.... get a new job Deborah

People working in this location are less friendly and pleasant in general, not just some individuals. One particular time, I was refused using its priority tape to seal a priority pkg but advised to purchase a whole roll of clear tape to seal my package with a prepaid priority label.
P.S. After reading all the 1* reviews others left for this Green Rd location, I realized I was being rather reserved for my choice of word (not using RUDE instead). After a frustrating experience with her this past Friday, I told the black younger lady working at the counter that it’s the culture of this location for pushing customers to purchase packaging tapes.
1 review mention the Indian dude was exception. Well, I guess the culture changed him. It was him refused me using the priority tape with my prepaid priority label, and advise me to purchase a whole roll of clear tape.

In the past I've had some shoddy experiences regarding customer service, but lately it's improved a bit. I'm usually in and out in a timely manner when I need to send packages, and I just got off the phone to inquire about one, and the postal worker there handled it quickly and politely. This is the nearest post office to me, so I certainly hope the good service is here to stay!

I only come to this place because this is the only USPS that I could find near me. Don't be so surprised if you see long queue with only one staff!

The slow and extremely rude woman with the bob wig and glasses who everyone else on here is complaining about is Debra and she couldn't be more foul of a person. Her and the "supervisor" are miserable people and immensely unfit for their jobs, again, just as everyone else on here has already stated. But I feel it's important to tell others it's not you, it's them. If you or someone you know has been victimized by Debra, you're not alone! <3

That location needs attention… they treat people so bad! Every time I go there I feel sad to be treated like this! They give me hard time with shipments for no clear reason …she also interrupts me while talking and say NO before listening to what I am saying!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The employees at the Green rd office stole $200 out of a Priority Mail Package and USPS is refusing to pay the insurance claim. I will never go back there. Just a note- the package never left the hands of USPS (was picked up by the recipient at the post office and had been tampering upon receiving).

DO NOT GO TO THIS US POST OFFICE. My package like many others who have visited green rd USPS was LOST. This is unacceptable and attention must be called to this location. I won’t even get into how miserable and unprofessional the employees are.

I agree with many of the other commentors that the lack of competence and overall unfriendliness of the people working there is really disappointing. They made a mistake on our daughter's passport application and couldn't even apologize for the inconvenience when we had to go back 5 weeks later for another appointment. It's that lack of care that has me now using going to another post office even though the Green Rd one is just down the street.

If there were a zero on this scale, I would write a zero. This has been the worst experience with a public employee in all my years as a graduate student in this country. I went with a tracking number to enquire about a box the USPS lost. The representatives did not want to help, so they called the supervisor. A bitter man returned with my receipt, simply stating that “the system is down. I cannot do anything.” I asked what alternatives there were since (evidently, THEY are the system) I couldn’t retrieve any information as a customer. The male supervisor seemed bothered by my questions and started raising his voice. I asked him why he was raising his voice, and he angrily yelled while pointing at his ear, “I have a cauliflower ear, don’t you see?” I swear that I had not seen anything, and I apologized and asked whether he could hear me, to which he responded yes. I asked what alternatives could help to solve the problem, and he shouted, “I am not going to risk my job for you, miss!” as if I was asking him to commit a crime. He kept raising his voice, making me feel like the loss of the package was my fault to the point that I started sobbing in front of him. He looked at me with an unmoved expression, and that is why I think this man, who simply identified himself as a Filipino (He never identified by his name, nor did he show me his batch), is truly a psychopath. When I told him that he was mistreating me because I spoke with an accent, he pretended to be offended. I asked to speak to someone else, and instead, he denied my request and gave me 30 seconds to leave the premises as if I had committed some felony. Everyone saw this incident, and none of the two female representatives did anything. I don’t think it’s honest to use one’s hearing impairment as an excuse not to do your job and mistreat a patron. There was no need for him to be aggressive, treat me with contempt, and deny me any solution to a problem the institution he represents created in the first place. This supervisor and the whole staff at this branch seem to be bothered by patrons and speak poorly of Ann Arbor’s supposed openness to the international students who come and contribute to the economy of this town. So be aware of this supervisor and know he will be bothered by your mere presence, so do not dare to ask him a question. A true psycho. In summary, avoid this branch at all. It is up until today, and USPS has not found my lost box.

Holy moly. Where good spirits come to die. I’ve never actually left a bad review before, because I operate a small business rooted in customer service and die a little inside when I don’t get 5 stars, but this is richly deserved. I had a (read: one) very simple prepaid package to drop off, and waited in a line of about 10-12 folks. The older lady with the hair bob was in a small argument with someone over a stamp. Whatever. It happens. Stamp customer left in a huff. Next customer politely stepped up, said “Good afternoon,” and the clerk snapped at her to only come to the desk when summoned. Clerk was totally unoccupied. The startled customer steps back, and the clerk just leaves the desk. Empty handed, just leaves. We all sit in silence not sure whether to laugh, run, or hide. A younger woman came out and started (kind of) moving things along, but was definitely not stoked about anything at all— and no manner of politeness from any customer was going to change that. She turned away a customer for not completely sealing a package, and hit him with the ‘we don’t have tape’ line. I swear I saw her stifle a triumphant smile. Watched 4 people strike out with the younger soup/package n*zi, and it legitimately felt like an SNL skit. Older clerk finally emerged from recharging her hate battery, and we were all holding our breath against odds of certain rejection. I did not go in there mentally armed for what was to come. I would say I’ll know for next time, but I’ll crawl my next package to the recipient myself before I go back there.
