Very nice shop! Called them for a couple broken sway bar links and they had me in within 24 hours. Fixed them up quickly and without any issues. Price was reasonable and actually ASKED me if I wanted any more diagnostics (rather than loading me up with hard sells on other repairs). I appreciate that. I'll be recommending them for sure. Thanks!

I stopped using the local Jeep dealership after my warranties were up (and estimates were really high), thus looking for a local, dependable place.
After reading their reviews I contacted them as I needed a new radiator. They responded in a timely manner. I love the email program they use sending the details of the estimate, ability to "approve it". They also communicated their findings (an animal built a nest in my engine!) via email with photos. I appreciated the great customer service, completing my service in a timely manner, and picking up a washed car (even with tire shine applied!).

This might sound silly, but Orion is the only service place I've ever brought my Volvo to where I haven't felt overcharged or talked down to because I'm a young woman. That in and of itself is enough to keep me coming back, but they're also incredibly communicative, have never needed my car for longer than a day, and I love that I can leave my car here confident in the people taking care of it. My car feels and runs better every time it leaves Orion, and their prices are MUCH more fair than anywhere else that I've taken my Volvo in Ann Arbor. Super professional and excellent work carrying out a pre-purchase inspection for me on a used BMW -- being that I'm from out of state the communication from the specialists at Orion was top tier and incredibly easy to work with. Report was detailed and included pictures, testing details, etc. which is really helpful and gave me peace of mind. Cannot recommend this shop enough.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

They were rude, pushy, put in the wrong break parts originally and then tried to sell me thousands of dollars of parts and labor for my car that wasn't necessary. They never did what they said they would and they made we wait for over two weeks lying to me about what they were doing. They even confused me with another customer and mid conversation I had to remind them who I was. My husband is foreign and they never wanted to deal with him and would only look at me. They only cared about who was paying them. And when we finally came to take our car to a different mechanic they sent us away with broken parts and then told my husband they didn't want his kind to come there again. They didn't want his business. They would rather take advantage of their customers by up charging and making money off of work that's not necessary. It's dishonest and wrong to treat people that way or do any sort of business that way. I would give them absolutely NO STARS!!

Orion automotive was where I took my car for years while living in Ann Arbor, and I honestly thought it was the best auto shop I've ever had. I never needed to bring my car in twice for any issue, it was a great group of people, and almost every repair or service I got actually came in *under* the initial estimate they gave me.

I’ve been here a few times now for small random things as well as a bigger suspension repair for my e90, and Orion always impresses with their professionalism and thoroughness. Though it can get expensive like all German car repairs, the price truly reflects the service. Mike is always super helpful and makes sure to communicate everything! Don’t take your German car anywhere else!
