A search for community during pandemic isolation led me to The Mix Studios, and I am so grateful I started taking classes with owner, Sarah Kreiner! She is an exceptional fitness professional with a holistic approach to fitness and wellness. Sarah brings warmth, positivity, and humor to every class and has taught me to listen to and appreciate my body. With support from others, she has built two studio spaces that provide space for healing and growth, mentors other trainers, and continues to build her skills and knowledge. I highly recommend reaching out to Sarah and trying a class at The Mix Studios!

This is a wonderful, local studio to get a good workout. The instructors are all really encouraging and kind. There is a lot of joy and it just feels like a safe environment to work on yourself. I would recommend the bounce class if you want to get your heart rate up and not feel sore the next day.

The Mix Fitness Studios is AMAZING! I am a retired professional modern dancer. Being in my 60s now, I need to keep up my strength and balance. I can only take class online because I live out of state and it is like I am in the room with Sarah. She provides helpful movement or positional corrections when needed. She is also praises me which feels great! Although I am in my home I love my class, we laugh and work hard together. My sister and brother also take class and get personal training at The Mix Fitness Studio, it has become a great way to get and stay healthy.

Sarah is a great coach and motivator. I love the new Mix Studios. Sarah keeps workouts fun and interesting. You'll never have the same workout twice. Sarah is kind, and works within a client's abilities, yet pushes you to do your best! Sarah tailors workouts to fit, and is always ready with an alternate exercise if something doesn't work.

I love the classes at The Mix Studios. I've been coming to classes for about a year and a half. I love Sarah Kreiner's "Mix Total Body" classes; they are always interesting, challenging, and never the same. Sarah is great at modifying exercises for the various fitness levels of everyone in the class, and everyone is welcomed. I also love the new trampoline classes, especially the Fly Barre class on Wednesday morning; it is such a great combo of mini-trampoline work and barre exercises. It works muscles I haven't worked much since I took dance classes back in college. Sarah Hoffman is a great instructor; she has the best music! And the Zumba classes on Monday and Thursdays are amazing too. Kadesha and Teri are a talented, fun-loving aunt/niece duo. Kadesha does low-impact and Teri does beyond-the-limits impact at times, but they both have so much fun; it makes it easy for the rest of us to relax and have fun too, even if we don't quite get the steps! :0)

I signed up for Personal Training sessions at the Mix Studios, and Sarah was very understanding and yet practical about my goals, and paired me up with a great Personal Trainer, Mary. I had been working out but had not been seeing the results I wanted, so Mary put me on the right track and customized my training towards my most important goals. A regular frequency of sessions combined with managing my diet helped me see effective results within the first month, but more importantly, I learnt a lot from Sarah and Mary well beyond the training sessions. I was given a lot of additional guidance and exercises, and Mary identified my weakest areas (my core, of course!), and taught me various routines and exercises and variations, while explaining in detail what the effectiveness of certain routines are. Mary was also careful about form and always erred on the safe side to prevent injury. In addition to the personal training, I like the mix of group classes offered here too - there's quite a variety! I would be continuing at the Mix Studios, except that I had to move out of Ann Arbor!

Sarah has been my personal trainer for a while, and she is a one-stop shop to anything fitness! She helped me achieve my fitness goals, including being able to do 12 regular push-ups from being able to do zero, running my first half marathon from being a couch potato to now working on doing pull-ups. Sarah customizes the workout based on my available time, energy, and equipments, and she is incredibly knowledgeable on how different foods affect my workout and results. Sarah also helped me get back in shape quickly after giving birth! I am in the best shape of my life approaching 40 years old, and I couldn't have done this without Sarah's continued guidance and encouragement. I highly recommend Sarah for any fitness stage!
