Shopped at Lowes on Jackson Road for ten years. This store has taken a serious nosedive in customer service. I have tried to get a 5x9 bathroom floor covered since Dec 3, 2023. Now on February 5, the installer refused to put a thicker layer of plywood, for additional stability. I wanted 3/4 inch, but they refused, so I tried talking to Crystal a "new" manager." She would NOT even ask them> I would have taken even 1/4, but she got mad and hung up on me. It's truly amateur night at Lowes. Poor military guys get out of the service, get hired at Lowe's and quit within a month. Managers have NO training at all. Previous staff of ten years have all Left with one last holdout. This store is doomed to close in the coming year.

I want there and the return policy was 90 but the manager said its 30 days, when the policy on the wall says 90 days

This Lowe’s location has good prices and a decent selection. If you know what you want and where to find it, this is a good choice. But if you need help or advice, you’d be better off going some place else. Even during off hours, it’s exceptionally difficult to find someone to help you, especially someone who knows about what you are looking for (it seems like everyone is in different department).

Went in hoping Lowes still had mulch (November). Not only did they have still have mulch, but also they also had plastic to protect my car from the bags and Mike helped load them. Great service!

Would leave negative stars if I could. To JB Hunt: I would put every employee who I dealt with for my delivery and appliance pick up out of work if I could. I would shut down this whole company if I could. From the delivery and "inability" to hook up my appliance, to refusing to come back for my old appliance after I had to pay a plumbing company over $500 to turn a valve and hook up the new oven, to the people on the phone who constantly talked over me, made up excuses, flat out lied, hung up on me, refused to apologize for what happened, I hope every single person on manager Jocelyns team with JB Hunt is fired. Now I'm left with a broken oven in my kitchen before the holidays, and no refund as of yet. Shame on you Jocelyn and shame on Lowes for contracting with a disrespectful company.

I am an avid supporter of businesses that truly value their customer and take responsibility . therefore, it is with deep regret that I put down my recent experience with this Lowes .. which has, sadly, been far from satisfactory I went with a family member to Lowes in Ann arbor yesterday and spent between 7000 and 8000 dollars on appliances. regrettably, the sequence of events that occurred thereafter unfortunately left me very disappointed and in disbelieve. the store lost/misplaced my significant sum of money. My card was swiped, approved and when it came time to grab the receipt the computer froze. They customer rep (Mike) restarted the computer and the transaction was lost. He called the I.T. department where they told me I would have to call my bank . In other words they cant help me...we spent a total of 5 hours on this issue only for them to tell me once the funds hit the Lowes account they will refund me . where I can come purchase the items again.... I sincerely hope this issue was an isolated incident, yet it warrants immediate attention. I have reached out to customer service with no response as of yet. hopefully my appliances will come without the headache of waiting for a refund.. if that is the case. will most definitely not return to Lowes

The whole experience of ordering $5000 in appliances and a $586 storm door has been a complete nightmare! Delivery and installation dates have been changed many times. We received a broken dryer and a totally cracked dishwasher. It took from Monday to Saturday to receive a replacement dryer. The replacement dishwasher is somewhere out there. No one knows when that’s coming. I had to call Lowe’s myself to have a work order put in for a replacement. No one bothered to do it. I received a call from Abby today telling that the refrigerator I ordered on 8/22/23, and that supposed to be delivered this Monday, 9/4/23, will not be delivered Monday. She said it may still get to the store Monday, but she’s not sure if I will get it Tuesday or Wednesday MAYBE. There’s a good chance she said. I won’t hold my breath. I noticed my order on the Lowes app. and in an email I received that the date for the refrigerator was changed to NOVEMBER 6, 2023. I called her up, and I was told not to worry about it, because I will probably get it this week. I ordered a storm door last Saturday, 8/26/23. I was assured by Alyssa that the installer calls you up within a few days to set up installation. I questioned her about the door size, and she told me it would be fine. It’s a standard door size. I thought it would have to be measured. Meanwhile, the door and handle were delivered on Wednesday, 8/25. No one from the Elite installers called me to set up an appointment. I called Lowe’s customer service 3 times this week and was assured someone would call. I called the store today and a nice guy named Dave said that the installer needs to come out first and measure the door to make sure the standard size fits. He set that up for the installer to call me. It’s very discouraging and sad that Lowes doesn’t care about their customers. I moved up here from Florida, and there had been nothing but problems dealing with getting appliances and installations from Lowe’s. I don’t know if other major retailers are having these problems, but it’s very disappointing. I expected more from Lowe’s.

8.20.2023 - We ordered around $5k worth of engineered floating floor to be delivered on 8.29..8.28.2023 - We have received no email updates, phone calls, texts, etc on the order that is supposed to be delivered the following day, so I go to the physical store. I am told the material is at the store scheduled to loaded up the following morning and delivered. I am promised that it will be there..8.29.2023 - I wait at the delivery location (the house we're not yet moved into) for eight hours - no material is delivered, despite an automated voicemail sent to my wife that the material will be there between 1-8pm..8.30.2023 - I go back to the store and the flooring department informs that they made a mistake (the flooring is still in the back and cannot be delivered until Saturday). I inform them that I will take possession of the flooring that same day as long as they take off the shipping costs and comp me $800 towards the order ($100 per hour that I waited or 20%). They decline. I then tell them I want my money back and went directly to Home Depot where I found similar flooring for about $1,100 cheaper..Since 2009, I've spent well over $100k at this Lowes location. I will NEVER go back to a Lowes again. I hope that $400 was worth it.

Got zero resolution when they delivered these logs to the wrong house.. blocking the driveway! I called for them to correct them and they still haven’t! Six hours later. Logs at a house that didn’t order them. Management seemed very unconcerned, like it’s no biggie.UPDATE: Worst customer service by managers! It’s now Saturday morning and they’re saying I have to wait until Monday to have the long timber logs removed from the wrong location and even returned. And Joe, a manager, said if I just paid someone to get the hazard out of way for these people, they would not give me a refund. I feel like I’m in the matrix with these people.

Come on Lowes get with the times! I mean having to write down the part number for every nut, bolt and washer? That's like the mom and pop hardware store you put out of business. At least The Home Depot has a stamped item number and catalog at the register. I 100% will not be back for my hardware needs.

I stopped by this Lowes location today for pluming tools and I was in hurry as I had to go back to my work. Joe from the tools department helped me to find all my needs in less than 5 minutes, a trip that would have taken me at least 25 minutes. I met Joe in the past as he was working at one of nearby Rite Aid pharmacy and just like always he was professional,knowledgable with excellent customer service skills and even sense of humor. Thanks Joe for making my trip experience convenient and comfortable. while checking out i had Pamela helps me and was very helpful and friendly too. I will definitely visit again and to Lowe's managemet at this store, thanks for choosing the right staff and keep up the good work.
