“It takes two to tango. Or so I've heard. At Dollar General, they taught me how to do the tango by myself. And the foxtrot, salsa, and marinade. I can now marinade a chicken. They taught me. I lived here for a month. They took care of me. I owe them everything. I will do anything for them. I will lay down my life for them. I just ordered a hamburger. It will be good.”
“I love Family Dollar! The items they carry have gotten better over the past few years as far as quality and style. They usually have the items you're looking for in stock and the cashier's are very nice and sincerely treat you like they love to interact with customers. Almost every one of them will greet with a friendly "hello" and entertain you with small talk while you check out. That's one of the wonderful things about living in a small town! I decided to give 4 stars not because of the customer service, but because of the company honoring coupons and sales. Almost every time we go there, we learn that certain prices didn't add up and coupons I've clipped didn't work. That to me is frustrating because I make grocery lists around what's for sale, has coupons, etc. Prices get higher for the same items often. But that's pretty much everywhere now.”

6672 96th Ave, Zeeland“I decided to go and look around some of the Halloween seasonal items, when I got lost into the confounds of all the rolltainers, delving into a new world I have never seen. I found mystical wonders and socks with black cats on them.
I found myself back in my childhood, reliving every happy memory I could ever dream of. The beauty of it all was that there was more black cat socks than I could ever imagine.
Thank you, dollar general.”
“Every time I go in here, I am met with a hello. If I have any questions, they are available to help. Dollar General's are my favorite places to shop. The best, great service always with a smile and a laugh.”
“Most of the employees are super super sweet and personable. I feel bad that most of the time they’re alone. Today I went there and the girl paged her manager (Emily maybe?) 5 times with no answer- meanwhile there’s a line down the aisle, no more helium, and her screen is frozen. Isn’t the manager supposed to be helpful and available in these situations? What could you possibly be doing? No wonder they’re always hiring.”
