The lady at the front was very rude glaring at us as we walked in because I had my children with me. Then as they were picking up kids stuffed animals in the back to show for me to buy she told them to stop touching and they don't need to be in the bins with the stuffed animals. So we left because if she doesn't want our business that's on her. Rude customer service. You would expect in a tourist town that children might come in your store especially if you sell children's toys.

Cute little shop in town. We went up to Michigan for a couple getaway and were not disappointed with our stay. This shop is packed full of adorable things!

This store is extremely adorable and has really neat things. However, the woman working here was so rude. I smiled repeatedly to her and spoke very kindly when asking questions, yet she acted like I was a pain. I saw her with another customer, acting the same way. She rolled her eyes at my girls when they were looking at magnets and then decided to call another employee (I'm assuming that's who it was) to complain about another employee for the whole store to hear. When i went to the register, she kept talking and didn't even motion to me she'd be with me in a moment. She finally said," I have to go." And gave me her attention. She made us feel unwelcome and bothersome. For us, we just wanted some trinkets to remember our awesome trip and she just had a rotten expression and tone. Horrible customer service and way too pricy. My girls even said she was giving them dirty looks. I don't know her name, but she had dirty blond hair to her shoulders and a little heavier-set build. I hope she isn't the owner. As many tourists come through, she needs to be more kind to us and remember that we tourists are in happy moods. We don't want grouches. We are spending our money at their shops and keeping them in business.

Love this store. It's a fun place to browse, but you'll have a difficult time not buying at least one treasure. Stop at the Traverse City and Elk Rapids stores too.
