I have been to this shop twice now when visiting the Boston area. Charles is very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. He is very professional and knows the rare coin industry well. Pays strong for nice collectible coins, and has a nice selection of items to chose from for your collecting needs. I have done business with him on both visits and plan to do more in the future.

The first time I came into this store, the owner accused me of stealing when I was looking at the coins in the bin up in the front. Eventually after some chatting, the matter was cleared up, and after telling him I was interested in gold, he showed me a frank (somewhere around .25oz) and I declined to purchase that day. He said that they always had those pieces on hand. Fast forward a few weeks later I came in again to purchase a similar piece. The owner now told me they never keep gold in the shop and it’s always in the bank. The implication to me, seemed like he didn’t want to say there was any gold in the store, when last time I was in there he showed me some!
Every time I come in this shop I feel like I’m treated like a thief. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s just awkward and uncomfortable. Either respect your customers or don’t let them in in the first place, just my two cents.

Went in as someone who is new to collecting paper money and couldn't recommend this shop more. Both owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. 11/10 visit. Easy parking too, excited to head back in the future! Thank you again for your time!

I had the pleasure of going here last weekend, the owner and staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and their prices were some of the most reasonable I’ve seen. I’ll definitely come back in the near future.

I have ben to many coin shops here in Mass. & N.H. that deal in precious metals / coins, and this shop is Definitely one of the good ones! I challenge anyone that reads this that next time your looking to cash in your precious metals and or coins, first go into ANY pawn shop around and see what you get offered. DECLINE THE OFFER and then head over to this place. I guarantee you will never go back to any pawn shop ever again! As a matter of fact you'll be kicking yourself in the Ars for not finding this place sooner!

This place treats people like they are stupid and don’t know what they are talking about. I’m an aspiring coin collector and multiple times I’ve been there not one person has actually explained anything of significance to me that I would hold on to. All I ask is clarifying questions over the phone in most cases but whoever is the owner of the shop needs to watch his tone on how he speaks to people. Idk who you think you are but you need to stop treating people like they are dumb. I get you want to have someone come in that knows what they are doing but that is the nature of the beast. Get over it.

Every time i go in to C&J coins i learn something new and I get a good deal. The coin selection changes frequently so there's always something that will catch your eye, and the half price bin is great value.
