This pharmacy wasn't that great a few years ago, as the techs there always seemed mad if you took up too much time and were generally snarky and unwilling to help problem-solve.
THAT IS NOT THE WAY THE CURRENT CREW IS AT ALL
I literally cried tears of joy and gratefulness after an experience I had at this pharmacy last week. My family and I suddenly lost insurance, without warning, a month ago. If I knew it was coming, I would have stocked up on any prescriptions I could before. But here I am paying out-of-pocket for my meds (one being over $140 every two weeks!). I had a few coupon sites recommended to me to take off some of the costs. When we presented the coupon codes the woman behind the desk saw the new price and said "I think I can do better than that", and entered a different code to lower the cost. Than another employee walking by recommended a coupon code that THEY found works great, and she entered it. Apparently the staff keep track of different discount services for different meds to give the customer the lowest price. I was so beyond grateful and couldn't believe the group effort involved! They got my cost to be about 1/3 of the original price!!
I hope this group stays together for a while and anyone in town in a similar situation without insurance should go to CVS for help.

Scheduling immunizations using the CVS appointment procedure was the best system I've ever used. My 3 shots were done the same day I filled out the form. No problem, nice job. Allen

I had an outstanding experience at CVS. The manager, Jessica, was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and informative. Additionally, she was efficient, and asked if there was anything else she could help me with. You can spot fake sincerity. Hers was genuine.. This store is very, very fortunate to have her.

I absolutely hate this location. Always out of stock. I usually drive 10 min farther and go to the Athol location if I really need something because chances are it’ll be out of stock here. This week was the kicker. Doctor sent my script over in the morning. I went after work around 6pm to pick up and the script hadn’t been touched. She asked if I could come back tomorrow. Sure ok. The next I was busy I didn’t make it before closing so I stopped by today (Saturday). I am the second person in the pharmacy line she’s already helping someone and looks up and says sorry we can’t help you we’re going to lunch. We reopen at 2. Now I understanding giving your staff proper breaks but to turn someone away when they are the only other person in line is the worst customer service I’ve experienced. Especially when we’re dealing with something as important as medicine. CVS could use a proper lesson in customer service.

I use the photo machine quite alot. Thank you for FINALLY fixing the "magic hole" that sometimes took the pictures and hid them inside the bottom of the printer. today the machine would not read my cell phone (it read it yesterday) AS USUAL ALEXANDRA CAME TO SAVE THE DAY" but, this time even she could not fix it. Suggest all photo computers have a daily automatic system check every night. It might prevent problems.

Worst pharmacy ever. Staff is incapable and prescriptions are never ready on time. Don’t bother with the frustration just go somewhere else.

I’m tearing up writing this. I can barely see my keyboard, and I’m almost bending over from happiness…I’m in the parking lot of this amazing CVS, THE BEST ONE IVE EVER BEEN TO! (And I’ve been to a lot of CVS in my time…)I don’t think I’ll be able to read the keyboard if I talk about amazing workers that were here, so I’ll just cut this short.Thank you for everything, Jose❤️

Watch out for the ladies at the pharmacy! Extremely fresh and disrespectful. Instead of being nice and helpful they don't want to even deal with people. Not only did they do it to me but I watched other people get mistreated

Date: 01/25/22 CVS: Location 301Central street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475 Problem/ issue: Vaccine Administrator at this cvs location for my first covid 19 and flu shot vaccine did NOT sterilize or clean the area of my skin prior to administering both my vaccine shots on this day during my appointment I believe was at 10 am. Her description: She told me her name was Maria, she had big eyes, medium to larger built. The second shot I had for my covid 19 vaccine about 2 weeks later on 02/15/22, I confirmed with the lady whom gave me my shot that day that the area was suppose to be cleaned and I let her know that my last shots that the lady never did it and she did not seem to care nor point me to any manager to complain. I also requested to see my needle come out of package and asked to see the identification on the vaccine that she was going to distribute to me the second visit because of the lack of professionalism from the first visit, she did this but after opening needle in front of me and taking the vaccine out of canister she then told me that she forgot the top of the needle in the back and left for the back room with my already made vaccine. I thought that was odd and unprofessional and sketchy. I then requested she do the whole process again in front of me and she then did. In addition toward the end of my visit she was speaking with another pharmacist and was making very odd comments that weren't needed, and drinking beverages while working with me. Very sketchy pharmacist and the vibe there. I would look into this locations operation 100%.

Usually love the staff. They're pleasant and helpful. Everyone is friendly. The blonde pharmacist today was so obviously irritated I had questions about OTC medicine. She was no help. I had another question but I skipped it because she walked away. ?Not how you treat the sick or anyone else.!!
