Jake in framing is excellent! She has helped me with 3 projects so far and is so knowledgeable, artistic and patient. You feel the pride she takes in her work and she's an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend her for any of your framing needs.

Was very disappointed and very patient when checking out at this location and with this employee was an experience in restraint! I had a guest shopping with me... not one customer in the store and she was working on something when we walked up and said there are three SELF CHECK OUTS. I said I rather not use it and reluctantly she walked over to the register. I mentioned I had a regular priced item and is there an active coupon, she mentioned to go on the web site and so we did ..... to premise this action I can say without hesitation that each and every time I ask if there are coupons the cashier ALWAYS SAYS YES ...don't worry I have the discount Bar Code here I can scan it for you!!!! Excellent. But this Person made me find it to scan %20 off my single item. THEN we paid and did not bag the item. THEN WE HAD TO ASK FOR THE RECEIPT! I could tell this person IS NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED FOR HELPING. She was UNFRIENDLY, UNHELPFUL,and made us feel we were disturbing her. I took a photo of her ID NAME AND NO THSNK YOU OR ANYTHING... let me recount...the Store had no customers and not busy. Service was UNACCEPTABLE! I decided to cancel my App for anything in the future and hope THIS MANAGE AND CORPORATE EXECUTIVES KNOW THAT THIS KATHLEEN IS NOT A POSITIVE AND HELPFUL MEMBER OF THIS LOCATION! I will now go to a different location or not at all! Shame on her that we were very embarrassed for her for her unprofessional actions for such a small item!

I was there and I needed help at the pre check register and I ask the girl to help and she completely looked at me and walked away. I was going to walk out but I needed these things and young gentlemen came by and i ask him for help and he was such a gentlemen and very helpful. She came by and I said to her I got the jelp I needed and she grin and walked away. I wish I got her name but believe me I do go I. There because I am a teacher and I will get her name and report her to the manager

DO NOT GET ANYTHING FRAMED HERE! Extremely disappointed in my experience at this Michael's location. I had 2 large scarves framed a few months ago and the quality of the framing was just terrible. There were chips of paint coming off the black frames so I called to get them fixed. They agreed to fix the frames and I picked them up, and they chipped again, such a poor quality job and cheap materials. I had to bring them back a third time. Mind you, I live a half hour away and this isn't a quick drive for me (about an hour total). Once I picked them up again (for the third time), I realized that the corners of the frames were coming undone. The framer reassured me that this is normal and she filled them in with putty to cover it up. I also noted that there was debris behind the glass and the framer told me that was the best she could do? Upset, I took the frames home and within a few weeks, the entirety of the frame was sagging and the corners were becoming completely undone, like I had originally noted in the store to the framer. After several trips to this store and being disappointed time after time, we decided to get in touch with the manager since these frames cost about $1,000. The manager told us that we could have our money refunded or that they'd redo the frames. We originally chose to have the frames redone, but after thinking it over and all the annoyance this has caused us, we called back and changed our mind to wanting a refund. The manager told us that this is no longer possible and we must bring the frames in AGAIN so he can examine the frames and take them apart for a refund. Seems like a giant waste of time on both our ends and extremely unfair to us. We're about to have a baby and do NOT have time to be dealing with packing up the frames and risking damaging the scarves again and driving an hour out of the way to have them "examined", even though we offered to email pictures of the damages. I will make sure never to visit this Michael's location again. Thanks for nothing!

I like Michaels and its known for its good pricing and great stock and is pretty much now the only place to go for hobby and craft items. Too bad this store is a cluttered mess and is set up odd. Plus the registers are structured weird and the line to wait is back against the wall which makes it even worse. Display items are busted up and thrown in bins and all over the floor and boxes are scattered. Either they dont care here or they are overwhelmed.

I have been coming here for years, and have always found what I needed (plus more...). Recently I've been coming here nearly every two weeks, and just had a very nice exchange with the manager and am employee... I had been overcharged on an item, did not have my receipt and when they scanned the return item, it popped up as the "sale" price I originally thought I had paid. I was able to return the item without issue. The employee and manager were both reasonable and understanding. I've gone back a handful of times since then and continue to have excellent experiences!

I love this store l! But unfortunately the service is horrible the people working don't have any interest in helping you. I had went bye to go and get some paint brushes and the worker said that they where all out but as I was walking around the store I came upon a judge shelf of paintbrushes so I am unsure why the worker had just told me there wasn't any. Anyway I come here all the time and I expect more from this company

Over the past few months, I have come to an important conclusion. While I live in Westwood, this opinion has nothing to do with the convenience in location or bias to Westwood in general. I have been to a plethora of Michaels locations, this is by far the cleanest, most spacious, and most well kept Michaels store around (probably in Massachusetts). Even though AC Moore does have much better selections in some departments than Michaels does (and has less of the stupid seasonal stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with being creative), Michaels still does win over them in certain aspects. This particular location is larger than all the others that I have been to, and looks brand new to this day, even though they have been open in Westwood for nearly three years now. The store is always tidy and constantly has new inventory coming in. While checkout can be backed up around the holiday season of the year; typically speaking, they are very conscientious about the checkout lines. Selection is always fabulous and maintained even better. Just about six months ago, I wanted to purchase about fifteen of the same item that this store only had five of in stock. I bought all five and just a few days later, they were completely restocked with five more. At other competing stores (the only other instance of this same scenario I remember having was at Jo Ann Fabrics in West Roxbury, which is now closed) items stayed out of stock once purchased for months on end, which was obviously disappointing for any customer who wanted to purchase that item. The store management team, especially Steve, is so friendly, kind, and caring of the customers at this store. Another issue I have had (and continue to have at some Michaels locations) is other stores wanting to give me a problem with using a Jo Ann coupon at their store (even when their policy is to accept competitor coupons!). This place always processes them quickly, without hesitation or question, which is always appreciated. Every experience at the Westwood Michaels is always fabulous and I highly suggest this store; especially over some of the subpar locations in the area (looking at the tiny, claustrophobic location in Braintree and the Stoughton location who always questions my JoAnn coupons). 5 stars for the Westwood Michaels, so happy this company chose to open their best store so close to my home.

Great selection and clean store. Easy and ample parking in the lot. Lines can get very long, especially on weekends and are slow when people are using multiple coupons. Some of the cashiers can also be a bit too chatty to keep things moving along smoothly. You should be able to find all you need here for your craft projects, but allow a good amount of time. Lots of good sales. As others have said, don't pay full price!

This store is new and clean and well stocked so far with very helpful employees. I've been in twice and almost everyone I see asks if I need help. Don't ever buy anything here for full price. It will probably be on sale next week.
