We are bringing our second puppy to Sandy Meadow and they are great to work with and are just incredible with dogs. It's like they know what they are thinking! Missy and Anne have both been incredible!

My vet recommended this place. Went here for basic manners training and the owner Melissa and the trainer Elizabeth were great. Itwas a group training in the parking lot (COVID) which worked out well. I think there were about 6 to 8 different dogs. Elizabeth was a great trainer and was able to still give one on one attention in a group environment. She would go around the room (or parking lot in this case) to each owner and pet to make sure we were training and rewarding at the right time, etc. Once when Elizabeth went around the group and got to us, my dog would just NOT get "heel". I was mortified and was hoping Elizabeth would just give up and go to the next dog in the group, and we could practice at home. She didn't! All we needed is a couple more seconds to get the timing right and it worked! She makes sure your dog is learning and spends enough time with each owner.I've heard great things about this place from others that went here. From what I've heard ALL the trainers are fantastic.Also the owner is great about answering questions. I recently contacted her and if her training facility doesn't offer a service you're looking for, she will freely recommend you to a place that does. It's rare that businesses do that since most just want to safeguard profits. I feel Melissa genuinely cares about you and your pet's well being. I'd give a million stars if I could! THANK YOU!

The gold standard of puppy classes. There is homework, you did pay money to do it. This is more training for YOU and less magical dog behavior.

Absolutely amazing training. Missy did such a great job coaching me on talking and understanding my puppy. I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about classes with their dog to go here.

If you want to spurge on yourselves or a beautiful evening to celebrate something in your life this is fabulous!! Had a delicious porterhouse steak ceased salad(delicious) brandy after dinner!! It is a little expensive but service is like you will never see!!! Enjoy!!

This place is amazing it’s everything I wanted in a training class. We took the basic manners course with missy. She is an amazing trainer with just so much experience and knowledge about everything. She is also great at answering any questions (and trust me I had a lot) with very thoughtful informative answers for your dogs needs. I could go on for ages about how much I enjoyed the class. We have just one class left next week and I’ll be so sad to see it end. But we will keep practicing our training and watching for another class that my Charlie and I can join so we can continue to learn and improve!

I just recently finished puppy kindergarten with my new Pembroke Corgi puppy, Daisy Mae. I have known Missy and her crew for over 20 years. As always very professional and very knowledgeable. I always enjoy working with her and her associates. I've recommended her to different people over the years. I've always felt confident and comfortable when dealing with her. I highly recommend anybody who needs guidance with their dog, whether it is a beginner with a puppy or somebody with an adult dog with issues, Missy and her trainers are definitely the place to start. Reba just completed Puppy Kindergarten. Missy was her teacher and was an excellent instructor. The lesson plan of the classes was so well thought, each class building the foundation for the next. Reba really enjoyed it, especially the special training treats. We are looking forward to continuing her schooling at Sandy Meadow Farm.

Attended “Puppy Kindergarten” with Missy. She is an outstanding trainer, and provided timely insight on what our puppy was doing and why as she was watching. Excellent experience, will join the basic obedience class next to continue training our puppy. Thank you Missy!

We have taken a total of five classes with Missy Kielbasa with both of our dogs. As a veteran teacher of 30 years, I know how hard it is to make every class fresh and a useful learning experience. Over the years, I continue to be impressed with Missy’s enthusiasm for what she does. She just loves teaching people about dog behavior, and it shows in every class. Also, she is incredibly helpful with any questions one might have about a dog. She asks questions, makes a thoughtful suggestion, and then follows up the next week with a “how did that work out?”Other classes we have tried left us feeling unsatisfied as the trainers didn’t have the level of commitment and enthusiasm that a good teacher needs. Another thing is that, during class, Missy will notice something I am doing and bring it to my attention. It is amazing what a difference changing a simple behavior on the owner’s part can make in the dog’s. I have no hesitation in recommending Missy for any class, from puppy kindergarten to advanced training.

Missy and team were so wonderful with helping us learn how to work with our first dog about 12 years ago that we went back with our new puppy even though we are several towns away. Although the same breed, every dog is unique and training has been a new experience. Missy is incredibly intuned to both the dog owner and the dog and provides tried and true guidance, as well as individual recommendations tailored to the specific dog. We've recommended Missy again and again over the years and we look forward to continuing to learn with her and our new puppy through obedience and k9 good citizen training. She and her staff have taken great lengths to ensure a safe environment and were even able to offer zoom classes to help get us started during peak COVID period. We are thankful to have a lifelong resource to help our family successfully train and maintain a happy, healthy home for our pups.
