We go out of way to the next town for such great dry cleaning and repairs. Susie is amazing (does great and varied repair work) and honest (tells me when a zipper is not worth replacing and more expensive than the bag itself). She's always so kind and understanding of the stuff that we haven't picked up. My 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter also love to visit Susie!

I went here to get my daughter prom dress hemmed and the owner of this cleaners tried to charge me $700 ( upfront mind you not even before she started alterations, which in hindsight is good so I knew right away she was trying to completely overcharge me) for the alterations. The dress didn't even cost as must as her alterations ( hem and hook and eye bustle not a tough job) . I've always known they were more expensive then most as I've had my daughter's school uniform skirts altered there ( hemmed) and it's was $80 for each skirt to be hemmed 3 total so $240 total ( just to shorten them) the skirts brand new cost only $55. So the alterations were again more than the actual skirts. Reason I went there AGAIN is because I'm from Watertown and my entire family ( and husbands family) are all from Watertown and we always used this cleaners for everything ( support local businesses) before new ownership took over (??) and it is convenient I could walk there from my house. I was horrified by the $700 quote I was given and immediately took the dress from themAnd then called the place I purchased the dress they were ALSO horrified by her $700 quote and hooked me up with an amazing seamstress in Sagus that will cost $150 for the same job. It's a drive but worth it. Also, the seamstress in Saugus said thankfully I didn't get it done at choice cleaners as they left some of the pins in the bottom hem of the dress and if choice cleaners did end up altering the dress it would have been 3" too short so not only did choice cleaners ( owner) try and charge me $700 ( absolutely absurd) she would have ruined my daughters dress completely and she wouldn't have been able to wear it for her prom. Please read this review and think twice about going here. Awful experience and VERY eye opening just because something is convenient doesn't mean it's the right place or the right people to do the job.

I tried several other places before I found Choice Cleaners. Family run, they try to accommodate whatever I need. Not just cleaning my shirts, they also repair, replace buttons and stich up whatever I have torn. My leather jacket came back looking better than when it was new. Excellent service and very nice people to deal with.

Extremely kind and they do a great job. Unfortunately the prices are insanely high for a small steaming of a dress!

We had been going here for years. Prices a bit steep but service was always kind and friendly. My husband went to put on a dress shirt for work fresh from the dry cleaners bag and to our shock the front had what look to be burn holes running down the front of it. He brought the shirt in along with some other items to be dry cleaned and wanted to bring this to the woman’s attention who handles the drop offs / register. She immediately accused him of burning it with cigarettes. He responded with I don’t smoke. The shirt doesn’t smell like smoke. It’s fresh from here. She Continued to deny and then said sue me sue me sue me irrationally and would not let him calmly speak with her. My husband responded I was only trying to make you aware of what happened so it doesn’t with my other shirts. He took his stuff and left. Absolutely shocked and disappointed. Will not be going there again. Don’t risk your clothes getting ruined.

I have gone here for over a year. I had no issues until I received an expensive shirt back with little burn holes all over the front 5 different holes. When I brought this back and showed them they completely denied it could have happened there. She told me over 5 times it was from cigarettes, which no one in our household smoke. No one in my life smokes actually! She asked what I wanted and I said "nothing" I just wanted to make you aware. From then on she told me I could sue, which I was shocked by. I wanted no money off, and would have continued going with no problem but was told "in 30 years, this has never happened" and it has to be from me smoking. I explained she would easily smell smoke on any of the 10 shirts I was about to drop off. I've actually never smoked a day in my life. She also told me they ironed it which I've seen iron burns before and it looks exactly like my shirt that's ruined. I wanted nothing but an apology. I wear the shirts once and then drop them off and pull them out of the plastic and wear again. Too bad, beware.

Had the zipper replaced in an expensive winter coat with a heavy duty zipper. Works great and was finished on time. A very pleasant first time experience .

Took my dress for a wedding here to get altered. I needed to have the bottom hemed a bit . When I tried the dress on, the owner didn’t like the embroidered neck and wanted to cut it off. I said I liked it and wanted to keep it but shorten it. Without notice or permission, she cut the entire neck piece off. After everything was pinned, I went to the front to pay ahead of time. She wanted to charge me $135 for everything- more than the dress itself. I was in a really bad position because I had a piece of my dress cut, I didn’t know what to do. I took my dress and the cut piece and went to Ying’s on the other side of town. They took care of everything for $60. This place is overly expensive. Sad to say I won’t be coming back, I’ve had other pieces altered here before and I don’t remember it ever being that pricy.

Very expensive alteration. I brought a simple dress here to be shortened. $89! Utter rip off. Very nice people and the job was fine. I will never go back with those prices.
