Terrible consignment experience.
The pieces that didn't sell, they gave back to us broken.
The pieces that they wouldn't sell, they said they may have donated them, which we asked them not to do. Or perhaps those pieces were somewhere in the back, but they said they have no way of knowing. My mother insists they stole the items. In either case, very disrespectful.
And the pieces they did sell, they printed checks with the wrong name. The bank will not cash them, and this store refuses to mail us new ones.
Do your homework, find somewhere else that is honest and caring to the elderly.

This is one of the best antique stores I’m aware of in Massachusetts. Definitely my favorite in the general area. Every time I come here I find something unique and special, at a great price, including jewelry. It’ll always be my go to whenever I’m in town.

I won’t go back. The staff were talking loudly and negatively about one of their patrons. It was incredibly disrespectful.

I decided to bring my young daughters into this store to experience the thrill of antiques. They both love "old" things like myself and since were local I thought it would be great. Weentered the store where we saw 2 employees taking. They couldn't be bothered to even say Hello even after I smiled and said Hi. We walked through the store and turned into an area where they were, this was a walkway apparently for staff only. They finally spoke and said "We don't let people walk through here". I just shrugged it off and we continued to browse. It wasn't until we were near the register on the opposite side of the store when one employee finally spoke and said "those are fragile" to my older daughter who was admiring a plate. We decided it was time to go when I noticed my daughter then got quiet and looked like she was going to cry. Terrible customer service, 2 older women who should know better. will never return!

Everytime I come here on a business trip ... I always tell everyone "go...to Boston post road" it seriously has anything and everything someone would want. Groceries, great clam chowder, hot dogs, coffee, tattoo parlors and tanning salons. I can spend hours and even days on BPR. So my review lol Classic consignments is better than a vintage store in the hipster areas of Chicago. (I'd know I live there) anywhosen I took my mom there a few weeks ago and the staff is great they even have her a chamomile tea to make her shopping experience calmer. I kid you not she found a wedding dress that looked identical to the one she had worn and this one fit her. She has been wanting to fit in that to be buried in next to my father (in his wedding suit) since 1997. I also found a cool Brett Farve rookie card, a kewl bracelet and a star wars mug... so good everytime I come here I leave a broke man. Love it.

Always fun to stop and browse at this store. They seem to move their products around and through so there's always something new even if you stop weekly. How highly recommended.

Friendly staff will help you realize some return on your no longer needed items. They take 50 percent, but they need to make a few bucks too. Been there many times to buy and sell. Always treated with respect and fairness

My family and I have been shopping here for years and the staff have always been so warm and kind to us. It's as much a pleasure to see them and talk with them as it is to shop! The selection runs the gamut from mid-range second hand housewares to fine jewelry, vintage treasures, beautiful furniture, framed pieces and art, and unusual antiques. My taste is pretty weird and specific, but I always manage to find something really special here at a great price. I have only ever shopped, never consigned, but I know many other people in the antiques community who have been selling here for years and seem happy and satisfied.

They were knowledgable about the stuff that I brought in, identifying it correctly. Most of it sold. I was not notified to pick up my unsold stuff nor do they mail the checks from sales. I luckily called them. Some bookkeeping is wrong and no calls have been returned. And in a pandemic, mask wearing was not consistent. Some good finds are available to shoppers.

I have purchased & consigned here for years…They are The Best Consignment Shop around! The staff is friendly & they mask up because they are Smart Women (and David lol) and because the Sudbury Board of Health requires it. The previous shopper probably caught them working (&eating) through lunch!
