I needed to have my turning signals/hazard lights fixed. They were only working intermittently.
Two local mechanics (I've been a regular customer of both) refused to help even though I told them my car was unsafe. They told me to call back when the turn signals/hazard lights were completely broken. In other words, they wanted me to risk getting into a car accident.
The car dealership wouldn't even look at it because the car is more than 10 years old.
John Francis told me to come right on over. He stopped what he was doing to look at the car. He determined that it needed a new flasher, ordered the part, and had me come back the next day. It took 20 minutes for him to fix it.
Even if he made a mistake and replaced the wrong part, if I come back, he will replace the other possible culprit (a broken switch). But he said, in his many years of experience, it's rarely a switch problem. The flasher will be the solution.
You know what? Either of the other two mechanics who turned me down could have provided me with the same courtesy.
I will now never bring this car to another mechanic.

Had work done at **** Francis Auto Rapair in july, 2023 Brake ,Rotors ,Tire all four replace to travel out of state they told me i was safe to travel so on my way from reture my left wheel flew off the truck and put my daughter and I left in danger . call the auto shop and they hung up on me said its was not there fault please be awared that this donot represent very good bussiness on there behalf we almost lost our life and had to payout additional cash for repairs wait for toll copmany and state police my heart goes out for so many that did care about us in the ********************* we are greatful to be amongst the living . thanks go out to the people at the dealer ship Qutten chrysler dodge jeep for your ***** in this matter. for Francis Auto is hope you can be better role model when things occur that could of been pervented towards your era.

Don't be put off by the look of the parking lot or buildings. These guys do great work at fair prices. I've been using them for decades. I've referred many people to them and they have had similar good experiences.

I've never left a google review before, but I have to for this shop.Earlier today, I was left with an unhappy misfiring car 3 1/2 hours away from home. I called multiple different mechanics in the Stoughton area seeking anyone who would just read a code for me so I could know what's wrong with the car. Of course, no one had the time or interest to deal with it, even after explaining how bad of a situation I was in and that I would pay any dollar amount just for someone to look at it. No luck. Before I had completely given up all hope, I found one more shop in the area, Francis Auto Repair. The technician at FAR was more than happy to read the code and help fix it. Within 30 minutes, my car was all fixed up (bad coil) and I was on my way back to my home state. The mechanic was incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgable. The pricing was more than fair for the parts/labor/help especially after dropping everything he was doing to deal with my car. If you find yourself in the Stoughton area with a broken car, this is the place to go. I can't thank them enough!!
