They are so patient, caring, and understanding. My cats are in good hands, they are emphatic and accommodating to my pets’ needs. They communicate clearly. Front desk staff are extremely helpful with pet insurance.

Monday I had to put down my 17 year old dog. Without dr hersman support and compassion I wouldn’t have been able to do it. I will be forever grateful to him he felt my pain. Thank you..

I wanted to find a vet closer to home and chose East Springfield for an initial appointment with my epileptic cat who is notoriously nervous. From my initial call with Amanda to my appointment with Dr. Guidry (a fellow Southerner) myself and my kitty were very impressed. Normally my cat will hide for a whole day after the vet, but not this time. She was out and about in the house as soon as we got home like nothing happened. Easy to find and ample parking. The facilities were clean and comfortable with separate seating areas. Front staff was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. My only complaint is the seemingly one sided negative reviews on here. Some people just don't get it and I don't believe any of it. Keyboard warriors have nothing better to do I guess. I will be bringing all three of my cats here from now on. I was a vet tech for 20 years, very picky, and trust me when I say it's a good place. ?

I got discouraged they did put up with my dogs high energy and barking but without a muzzle and some strong meds they would not risk seeing my dog I just wanted his ears checked as a standard follow up and also wanted simparica trio but they wanted to do test to determine if he could get that but I sent them Vetco information so if Vetco already tested my dog why test again why not check with them to confirm he's good to go and then I can buy that from the vet support small business in the process seems like they wanted to charge me for services my dog already received everyone was nice to me and professional but I'm afraid I have to support the big box Vetco and just get his flea and tick stuff through them sorry

I had been bringing my dog there for years for routine visits, nail trims, shots. Then he developed what appeared to be an eye irritation. I was sick with RSV but I called to have the dog seen. I arrived for my 3:30 appointment and tattoo boy was playing on the computer. There were no other animals or owners in the place when I arrived. Tattoo Boy gave me a blank expression when I announced we had an emergency appointment at that time. I waited until he finished playing and ushered us into a waiting room. At 3:50 I stuck my head out of the room and asked how much long it would be. Only a few more minutes I was told. REALLY?? An emergency visit with no one else there and I've been waiting 20 minutes already? The dog and I left unseen. A week later I received a certified mail packet that contained all of my records fir ten years and a letter advising me to get a new veterinarian because we were no longer welcome because we left without being seen and thus wasted THEIR TIME. OK we moved on. Dog is happy with the new vet. THANKS East Spfld. You did me a major favor.

Took us right in after I had concerns about my dog being attacked by another dog while walking. The vet did a through job of checking him out and finding no problems. The vet and vet tech's are very caring

Do not go to this vet if you valve your animals health, they lie and steal your money. I brought my animal in for a check because he was losing weight, while doing the tests on my animal, they manhandled my poor weak animal they then diagnosis my animal with diabetes, then they proceeded to say i needed a training on how to give insulin for $60 dollars, i told the vet that i already knew how to give insulin to animals from a previous family pet, he then withheld my animals prescriptions for 2 weeks until i came back and did the training, which the vet tech didnt even do any training, all they did was go over paperwork. I then paid my bill of $60 dollars even tho i didnt get any training, just paperwork review.vet then proceeded out towards me and tried to convince me that what they were doing to me and my animal was ethical, i told the vet he was unethical for keeping an important medication from my animal for a length of time until i paid the vet for an unethical training, i told them i didnt agree with how myself and my animal were being treated, so i tried to leave and the whole time the vet was trying to speak over me, i just wanted to leave, i was feeling very uncomfortable now that the vet is saying private medical info about my animal in the waiting room in front of other customers. I then received a email stating they would no longer see my animal. Then i received my animals records in the mail, to come to find out in every statement the vet made he was lying to try and make himself look better. I urge eveyone to read all the 1 star reviews on this vet before going, i wish i did before going. I guess this is a normal thing that this vet does to animals. They take ur money then refuse to see ur animal. I would give 0 stars if i could, also they are the same hospital as wilbraham animal hospital where the staff there are just as unprofessional as this location. I urge eveyone to go to any other vet then these 2 places.

East Springfield Vet has the best vets and staff. I've been taking my pets there for the past 20 years.
