I generally found the process up through the actual sales transaction to be relatively smooth – although their online listings included an invalid VIN # and way-off mileage figure (which had me starting to suspect odometer tampering). However, everything after the sale was less smooth. Note that if you insure your cars through a direct insurer (vs. independent agent), then you’re on your own to register or transfer plates & pay sales tax with the MA RMV (this was not my experience when I bought another used car @ CarMax). The terms on their MA Used Vehicle Warranty document are sufficiently vague – however, enforcement is not (only engine, transmission, and drivetrain are covered). The used car I purchased did not pass MA inspection initially because the windshield needed to be replaced – no extra cost to me, but an unexpected nuisance all the same. Lastly, you’re better off if you live local to this dealer – because they’re very slow to respond to messages posted in the email & voicemail boxes that are listed on their business card (in other words, you’re better off if you can readily discuss questions/issues face-to-face at their site instead – which was not my situation).

I bought an Audi A4. Drive the car for a test drive no problem. Buy the car and it throws a code within 3 miles. Drive it back. Dave promises me it will be fixed because he also promised it will pass inspection and now it has a R sticker. Bring the car back a second time. Has his “mechanic” fix it (he reset the code) and I ask him for an invoice for my personal records. He can’t find them (because no work was ever done to car besides resetting the light that he can prove) Bring my car to him yesterday for the same problem. Told me I’d have my car by end of day because he made an appointment and the shop had the part I need. Now it’s the next day and I won’t have a car all weekend. Not happy at all with his auto sales

I bought an Oddyssey 1 year ago today from Country and have waited to do a review because I've seen some of their negative reviews in the past. I will say after the 2nd MA inspection (passing) and a year of worry free driving I can say I'd buy again from Country. Dave was a great guy to work with and made everything work out without a hassle or any smoke and mirror tactics.

I’ve been looking for a vehicle for a while now and shopping at different car lots in the area and I came across country auto and they had an SUV that I loved.I was working with Dave and out of all of the salesman that I have dealt with while looking for a vehicle Dave was the most pleasant one I worked with. He answered all my questions and never rushed me once. Dave wasn’t just looking for a sale, he made sure that this was the right vehicle for me and my financing. I ended up purchasing a vehicle that week. What a great experience with Dave and country auto.

Excellent service and an excellent deal. I bought my pickup truck from them with so much positive equity that the loan officer at the bank felt it necessary to tell me what a good deal I got. Go see Dave and he will take care of you.

I got a nice car from this dealership. Mechanically sound lower mileage, only driven by the grandma of the nephew of the dealer. No accidents per dealer. It had a couple of scratches on the rear passenger door. I was okay with it as it hadn't been in any accidents. Dealer was easy to work with and process was smooth.I wanted those scratches gone as I knew I would be keeping the car a very long while. Took it to an auto body shop for the paint job and it went well. However, the auto body shop reported that the bumper, trunk, and rear passenger side panel had been painted and the color was slightly off in those areas. The car was likely in some kind of fender bender, which damaged the paint. An accident. This became clear to me when looking at the vehicle after the paint job on the door. So, when the dealer called to check on how the car was running, which I appreciated, I asked him if it had been in an accident. He said he didn't think it had been, but clearly something had happened to the rear of the car.You can buy here, just look very carefully before purchasing and maybe get a Carfax before buying, maybe have it looked at by a mechanic. I know I will be doing those things before I buy a car again. Hope nothing else is off in the vehicle as I plan on driving it for a long while.

Bought two cars from here, one was a blazer that had so many issues that were hidden from me before purchasing. When I say hidden they kept tapping off fluids and wiping off things so I wouldn't see the major mechanical problems it truly had. Especially the dashboard lights, there was a check engine light that triggered during the inspection that had to be fixed. They did some trickery to get the light to go away for a couple weeks after purchasing that had to be actually fixed. They said they fixed issues my mechanic said needed to be addressed that they ended up not doing. I should have asked for receipts, and did my own eval but i trusted 3rd parties which i never will again. Not only does this place lie but so do the shops he brings the vehicles to. Never again will I do business with dealerships or auto shops in Southwick. Bunch of criminals. Spent thousands on repairs after a high price tag. It's my fault for thinking that my town was so nice, being a local that I wouldn't get screwed over. My mistake!

I purchased a 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T. When I first test drove it everything seemed great and appeared to have no issues. I got it up to around 45MPH because the roads were almost all 30 around there so I didn’t want to push it too much. When I picked up the car and headed home(about an hour and half drive). The car when it hit about 50mph began to feel like the transmission was catching/slipping. This was very unsettling driving home on the highway because the car would shake a lot. When I finally got home safely I took it to a mechanic I trust. Turns out it wasn’t a transmission issue but there was fix a flat in the rear right tire. Not sure as to why because that isn’t how you patch a tire and is usually a temporary fix then taken out. There was quite a lot of it inside the tire, once my mechanic removed it the issue was fixed. It was only about 200$ But still did not expect it. I had tried to call Dave and I got no answer so I left 2 messages (thinking it was the transmission and this would be expensive) and I never heard back from him. This seems to be the case with the other bad reviews on here. The car runs very well and is in good shape despite the minor issue, so getting a car hear isn’t a bad idea but just do your due-diligence. There was also an automatic car starter in the car which would have been nice but it doesn’t work(not the remote, has new batteries).
