stopped by while shopping around in salem and i had the best time! there were so many different options for jewelry and cute little trinkets. everyone was so sweet and helpful. i tried on about 8 different rings before settling on the one i chose and they were very patient and happy to chat. there were so many different affordable rings in a huge range of sizes. i definitely recommend checking it out for really any jewelry needs!!

I have had a few pieces fixed here and the price was very reasonable. The staff is super friendly and they have a fun selection of jewelry pieces. I have never seen them be difficult with anyone so beware of crabby people that want to bring this gem of a place down. I would highly recommend.

Had two chains cleaned and polished; one 208.9 gram Rope and one 45 gram Anchor Mariner. Cost just under $50. Tobi herself is an Angel as are her employees. I have never had jewelry service before so I’m not sure if just under $50 is fair but what I do know is they made me feel like I didn’t waste my money. Sure, I could’ve cleaned and polished them myself but I don’t have the drill. Maybe I should’ve bought one for cheap at the pawn shop and did it myself? But when you enter Tobi’s you get this magical sense as though you walked back in time and that’s part of what I paid for; the feels. It’s a better feeling in October. I’ve been looking through the glass at Tobi’s since the 90’s. This place really is a gem and I hope it stays forever.

I have been going to Tobie's for watch batteries since I moved to MA in 1991. You can't beat her prices; I recently paid $6 for my watch battery and $10 for my husband's. A few months ago I brought in a watch that another jeweler said was beyond repair. Tobie put in a $6 battery, "fussed with it a bit" and I left happy to have this watch working again. Her store is overflowing with beautiful jewelry for sale, and she will do custom work as well with your gems or ones she sells. She also has a ton of non-jewelry items; the place is a treasure trove. Tobie is skillful, detail-oriented and delightful. She is a pleasure to do business with, and I always enjoy going into her shop.

Lovely store - lots to explore and find. Tobie is a gem! She is so very skilled at the art she practices. And her staff shines. Jimmy is a great partner, a true sweetheart of a guy! I enjoyed the good natured vibe here. I ALWAYS leave with beautiful pieces at great prices. Of course custom work and repairs are available too. A visit is worth your time!

I asked for a 14k gold cat. What happened in a few days was so awesome. Tobie brought me a tray of cats. I picked a beautiful pendant and rope chain. I cant wait for next year's Salem souvenir.

My husband and I went to Salem for Halloween.We went to multiple shops and this shop was by far one of the best. The door was locked as they were closing up for the day, they allowed us in and were extremely friendly. Very pleased with the hospitality we received.. if we ever get back to Salem, we will return...

I would also give zero stars if possible. The absolute worst customer service. I am a resident in Salem and I am sad that this place is so awful. I went there to have a watch strap adjusted. I rang the bell outside and nobody opened the door or let me in. I looked inside and there were two separate parties being helped. I stood in the rain for approximately 10 minutes. I got the attention of a customer in the store and asked her to open the door. She was not able to open the door. She asked the person working there to open the door, and still did not open the door. I finally left. They may have tourists now, but it would behoove them to provide good customer service to Salem Residents!!
