“Had two old tractor tires for my small Toro WheelHorse tractor that were leaking air. These guys fixed one with a new valve stem and tried to repair the second as it had a hole in the tire. Tried to repair that with a plug but tire was too old. I'll need two new tires but for now these guys got me back in business. I will return and spread the word. They have a really good selection of slightly used tires that will save you significant $$$ especially in today's bad economy.”

“Pep Boys in Salem, MA and Portsmouth, NH get all of my kudos after helping rectify my situation! I had an appointment booked in Manchester, NH for over a week with a purchase made from their Black Friday deal. I moved my appointment to another weekend to help lighten their schedule. I got a call from the store 35 minutes before my appointment that the tires I ordered were out of stock and they would not be getting them back in stock, after having already driven an hour from Maine with a baby in tow. Their offer was for me to pay $100 MORE than the purchase price of the tires I had ordered. I immediately called the Portsmouth location, who informed me that they did not have the tires in stock but Salem, MA did, and they were going to place a call to their regional director and get back to me. They returned my phone call to let me know that they were not able to transport the tires to their location, but if I could make it to Salem, they would provide the tires and service AND honor my purchase price from my original order. Salem got me in same day and provided timely service, and both locations get an A++ in customer service from me!”
