Cheryl is wonderful and an amazing tailor! She altered my bridesmaid dress to perfection giving me the confidence needed for my friend's wedding. She was great at quickly hemming work pants. She also brought back my partner's old work jacket to life with new snaps and zipper saving it from being discarding. We definitely trust Cheryl with all our tailoring needs!Services: Restoration

I have known Cheryl and been her customer for over 21 years. There is no one better as a seamstress and for the quality and timeliness of her work her prices are very reasonable. Roslindale and the surrounding area is fortunate to have her as a merchant and citizen. Threads is worth the trip from the suburbs as well.

I had a great experience at Threads! It was a few days before my wedding and I realized my wedding dress was a bit wrinkled when I took it out of its garment bag. Steaming it with my tiny hand steamer wasn't going too well. I called several dry cleaning places in the area, and they all said that they would have to send it out to be steamed and the turnaround time could be up to two weeks! I called Threads and Cheryl said sure, she could steam it for me herself by hand for $30 and I could pick it up the next day. She saved me and the dress came out looking perfect!

What a fantastic place. I needed two zippers replaced and an alternation to a third garment. She was able to salvage the zippers without a full replacement, and was able to sew thumbholes into my other shirt. They work perfectly and for such an amazing price. I was expecting to pay more, but i was floored when it was less than half of what i expected. It was on time, professional, and handled with the utmost care. Cheryl is super talented! I recommend this place 100%. I am sad that I will be moving soon but I may just make a special trip if i need anymore alterations.

When the button on my dress decided to pop off I went to Threads because I had heard good reviews. I must say the woman did amazing work. She was able to attach a new snap button & even stitch the upper part of my dress so it didn't show too much cleavage. I am extremely happy with my alterations and will definitely be going back!
