Extremely offended by an employee (possibly owner - a brunette) who passive aggressively and later full on aggressively accused my 2 sisters and I (in our late 20s and early 30s) of stealing, telling my sister her “pockets were full”, demanding if she was planning on buying items she was looking at, and informing us that the other stores had given them “all the red flags”, presumably of our stealing??? I looked at her confused and realizing that she was accusing us of stealing and not just extremely overbearing, I gave her a confused look and she doubled down on her accusation, all as my sisters were trying on jewelry they liked in plain sight in front of the mirrors. We decided to leave because of this extremely hostile behavior and she followed us out yelling that it’s time to go and that there are cameras. Never in my life have I been so deeply offended. I invite this woman to review any footage she has and consult with her “red flag” sources to hopefully realize her mistake and not do this to other people as it was wildly inappropriate and shocking. We’ve been coming to rockport for 25+ years and never had anything resembling this kind of experience from an otherwise welcoming and vibrant street filled with lovely boutiques, stores, and shop owners. Avoid this store at all costs if you don’t want to be harassed, pursued, and accused of stealing by an extremely rude, hostile, and angry woman.

My family and I were accosted and harassed by the employee and will never be back. Do not recommend at all.
Extremely offensive staff. We were accused of stealing, while we were browsing and looking to buy/trying things on...with intent to buy. Extremely offended by the atrocious behavior from the employee working. We have absolutely no idea where this came from, and it has severely soured our taste for the establishment.
Truly disappointing and, frankly, disgusting. This woman has no place in customer relations, let alone basic human interaction.

My sister, myself, and my mother went for the day to Rockport to celebrate Mother’s Day. The boutique owner was genuinely one of the kindest souls on earth. We all made separate purchases and not only is this boutique, full of really cool authentic pieces, but the business owner Had such a nice way about her. She wrapped all of our items and put them all in the most adorable bags. It’s not every day that you go into a boutique and don’t get the dreaded “do you need a bag?”- she did all of this no matter what the cost of each purchase. Wonderful experience. Cannot wait to go back!

Rude & phony owner. Tries to pretend friendliness if she thinks you will buy. Otherwise she will dismiss you and attacks verbally. Merchandise is cheaply made and overpriced. Beware! I observed and experienced her tactics and later found out that others had as well.

The weirdest experience I have ever had at a store. You know how when you shop you like to pick up the item and look at in the mirror to get a feel for what it may look like on. Well, the owner followed behind me and placed anything I touched back a precise way. It doesn't matter that I placed it back in its original spot. After experiencing this, I just left. I was not fond of being followed around a store like that. It was uncomfortable and sadly she lost a sale. Let customers browse and feel free to do so, that's what shopping is about.

I travelled to Rockport from Texas and happened to find this store! Loved everything about it! Went crazy shopping for jewelry and trendy clothes! 5 stars! The owner was friendly and helpful

This store is awful. Sign up front says exchange only if you do not have a receipt. Which should actually say exchange only. Ridiculous.I was not allowed to get my money back for bracelets bought the same day within minutes of purchasing. Definitely do not purchase anything from this store. I was also told the bracelets would not tarnish and after one shower they are tarnished. Quality is terrible. Rude owner.

There are no jeans at the Wicked Peacock as another reviewer stated that's another store the owner runs just to be correct. The Wicked Peacock has no clear return policy it state's exchanges without receipt. Business 101 if the return policy isn't clearly stated the customer is always right. Hope this unfriendly owner figures it out even an employee tried to defend us but the owner quickly talked over her. Definitely skip this shop poorly run as is the other overpriced shop run by the same person.

Always a neat curated selection. My wife and my sister love to visit here every time we come to Rockport. There is not only jewelry but clothes and accessories. And they've even added sandwiches and beverages (haven't had them yet but probably better than some of that fried beach stuff). The collection always changes so if you like something, buy it. Otherwise it will be gone by the time of your next visit.

I bought two pairs of hoops from this place and was so excited by them as they were really cute. However when I got home I experienced the fact that one pair were entirely impossible to put on as they would not come out of the holder, and the other pair had such a short post it wouldn’t fit through my ear. Very disappointed as it was not cheap for both. I would return if I was in Rockport again but was on holiday and therefore will not get the chance. Something to be aware of before you buy.

Love, love, love this store. Haven't been in a few seasons, but continually wear the couple of pairs of earrings that were purchased from here. I don't know how the owner decides which pieces to wear each day, they are just all so awesome. Definitely a spot to check out when strolling around Rockport!

This shop is an easy 5 stars. It ticks all the boxes in terms of what delights most customers. It’s funky, upbeat, well-stocked, trendy, clean, accommodating, interesting + chock full of well-priced items. You also get the sense that each item is chosen with care. The owner is an all-out groovy chick who has real taste + an eye for design. She also makes you feel like she’s been waiting for you to walk through her shop door!
