Century is great. Friendly staff, lots of really cool modern-design housewares (bowls, table lamps, picture frames, that sort of thing), backpacks, jewelry, and glasses.It's a really cool place and I always find something I want to buy.

Beautifully procured shop! We purchased several beautiful porcelain pieces by Middle Kingdom and the gentleman assisting us was nothing but friendly and helpful the whole time. Exquisite leather goods, adorable high quality reading glasses and unique jewelry galore!! Century is a must-visit !!!

Definitely on my list of favorite stores in Ptown. I go in there a couple of times during my annual Ptown vacation and I usually walk out with something new. A fun selection of jewelry and other items. My fiancé and I recently bought our beautiful wedding rings there and they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful - and they were able to order the rings and get them to us before we were scheduled to return home.

i walked in and started trying on the glasses, the man that works there came up to me and said "little girl those are too expensive for you to play with, please leave." i needed new glasses frames, did i not look like i could purchase them? was i not looking to buy them? i wasnt throwing them around i was simply trying them on and laughing when they looked ridiculous. they just lost my service and its not my problem. i was upset about it for an hour. im short and he assumed i was a silly kid.

This is a fabulous store for wonderfully designed objects for the home as well as for personal accesories. The staff is very helpful and the owner goes the extra mile in customer service.

Nice inventory Not so nice service. Started out for a day of shopping in PTown looking for some off-season deals and special finds. High on my need list was a wallet so when I came upon Century on my first stop, I was delighted to find an awesome collection of Italian-made wallets that were beautiful examples of thoughtful design. I had seen them before at the gift shop that the Institute of Contemporary Art and I loved them. I was ready to splurge but it was my first stop and dropping over $100 for a wallet without checking out the sales didn't make sense for me, but there was one I loved and I asked them to hold it for me for a couple hours. The thing is I really wanted it and was pretty sure, maybe 80% sure, that I would be back for it, I just wanted to make sure I knew what my options were. The woman told me they had more, to imply that there was no need to hold it for me, but when I asked if there was any doubt I would have the option and she smugly said no guarantees. If there were more of them, it should not have been a problem to hold one for me for two hours. If someone wants to pay over $100 for a wallet, the least you can do is offer friendly and accommodating customer service. I left on a mission to find a wallet at another store that I liked as much because i was 100% sure I did not want to go back and give them my money. just a crappy vibe.
