Was verbally attacked for asking a price and thinking it was a little steep. It was the store manager in the Pittsfield store.I will never go back and I will stop recommending them.

What an excellent experience!! Varied materials available at great prices for an excellent cause. First visit, but not my last. I was able to find quite a few items for a camp I'm renovating. Spent over two hrs poking around!

I work in Real Estate. On several occasions I have referred clients to make donations to Restore, on Hubbard Ave., Pittsfield, MA. My experience with them is that often they will tell people that they will take donations and when we arrive to drop them off, they will pick and choose only those items to make a profit, or they will refuse items all together after assuring clients that they will take the items. It then become an expense for disposal. Most recently we made arrangements with Restore to pick up items from ALL-WAYS MOVING in Pittsfield, MA. Brendon the Manager of the Pittsfield location called All -Ways moving and demanded he was the Manager and that if the sideboard he wanted wasn't in the shipment he wasn't taking any of the donations. All -Ways Moving explained that they would get back to him they just wanted to verify the contents of the shipment. The staff at All-Ways was working to find out the list of furniture in the shipment and reported to me that they only have one warehouse person on staff at that time. Brendon called back infuriated that it had been 15 minutes since his call and he needed answers, he was the manager. The staff at All Ways apologized and said we are short staffed. Brendon continued to be rude to staff at All Ways. Sadly this is not the type of place I would hope to see donations go to anymore. If you are looking for places to donate please make your donation count! Please consider any of the following Resources. Wide selection of items from tools to furniture.

Appliance, furniture, and tool prices comparable to new harbor freight or box store prices. Affordable quality finds are exceedingly harder to find at this location

Whoever is doing the prices there is out of their minds. They got West Elm prices with roadside furniture quality. Boycotting because they're no longer about giving back to the community, they're tripping.

Great prices and a varied selection. The location from one direction can be a little bit tight if you have a larger vehicle.

Good variety of building materials, extensive lighting selection, assorted furniture. You never know what you are going to find. But always worth a look..

The furniture is nice, but the prices were horrible. I saw a desk that had cracked and broken veneer for $200. The dresser in the picture had a crack all along the top, despite the beautiful finish, also asking $200. Used Ikea cabinet handles for the same price you can get them new at Ikea! Not worth the hour+ drive from CT, sadly.

They have a lot of furniture and construction items to look through. Hit or miss depending on the day.

Previous times i been in there he was very nice. I bought a couple of items from there prior to this incedent. The manager was so rude. I will NEVER go back there. An item that was in the store marked as sold for weeks that the buyer never picked up. I asked about it every time i went there. Finally today was the day that i could have picked it up. So i paid for it once he said If i could take it home today i can buy it. Mind you this whole time the item was surrounded by other sold items, which mean i was unable to see the entire thing to inspect (see picture). Once we loaded it up and i was looking at it i noticed the legs were loose and a big scratch on the fron that was not visible. I went in and asked him politely to come take a look.He just BLEW UP on me. "I CAN GIVE YOU A REFUND I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS". I SAID THEN FINE GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.He even admitted that he didn't respond politely. As the manager or employee its your job to address customer concerns.I was very disappointed. I was not expecting it to be brand new, i also have to right to know of any damage an item may have.We all have bad days but leave your problems at home before you ruin someone else's day.
