This is no longer a hotel. It is 100% illegal immigrant, government paid, housing. Thousands of people getting free housing plus $79 per person per day at the cost of tax payers. Be sure to thank Biden-Harris for this disaster and remember this Democrat disaster when you vote.

It's a bit complicated. On the one hand, the hotel is generally clean and when things work, there's nothing to complain about. That's earned three stars from me. If it wasn't up to that minimal standard, I couldn't recommend staying there. When things are not quite right, the staff at this hotel left something to be desired, preventing a four or five star review. I should start off by saying the staff was very agreeable throughout. Unfortunately, they were not able to match that with actual results. We stayed here three consecutive nights on two separate occasions, two weeks apart.
On the first occasion, we returned to our room shortly before midnight one night. The key card would not open our door. I've had this happen before, when the clerk didn't program the right number of nights into the key. On this occasion, however, three cards later and I was still not able to get into the room. The night security person was also not able to get in using a master key. It turns out that the battery in the door had died and there was nothing the night staff could do about it. They said they put in an emergency call to maintenance and they would be here after 7:00 the next morning! They suggested they could give us a key to another room, but all our things were in OUR room, including my daily medications and out laptop, which my wife needed in order to finish up some payroll-related tasks that needed to be done before the following morning. Fortunately, I was able to "break into" our own room (I won't say how). When the maintenance man got there at 7:30 the next day he said the device for resetting the door code, which would also power the lock and let us in, is kept on site all night. Unfortunately, the night staff didn't know about that (and said it was not). I understand that this is a rare occurrence and I won't be surprised if it never happens again, but it shouldn't happen once. The manager was good enough to take that night's fee off our bill.
Two weeks later, we had a different room and had no problems with the key. There was a light that was out in the little kitchenette, which I reported the evening we arrived. By the time we left, after three nights, the bulb had not been replaced. They took the old bulb out but never came back with the new one, although we mentioned it to the desk manager on each morning. We could have ordered a new bulb on Amazon Prime and had it delivered and I could have installed it in less time. It turns out, furthermore, that the problem may not have even been the bulb. There is (as there should be) a GFCI outlet in the kitchenette. When I went to make coffee the first morning we were there, the coffee maker would not come on. I reset the GFCI circuit and it came on. Another floor lamp that had not been working also came on. I assume the overhead light was on the same circuit, but I couldn't test that because the bulb had been removed. I told the front desk about this each morning, also.
My standards for hotels is not that high. If it's clean and things basically work, I'll stay there again. But if you cannot change a light bulb in three days and if you cannot get into a room after 11:00 PM if anything goes wrong, there's a problem.

After not coming here for a while, unfortunately I find no desire at all to get anywhere past the mean brunette at the front desk and will be staying with a better managed franchise.

This hotel is housing illegal Somalian immigrants and has been doing so for months. They live there and if you don't believe me just go around the back at 8:30am on a weekday. Why are the bus windows completely tinted??? The drop off buses come early in the morning or late at night and only go in the back door. 9 out of 10 window shades are closed. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We booked 3 months ago for the upcoming April Boston marathon, they must have found higher ticket price, called us to day saying they are fully booked and where booting us. Do not trust this hotel. They are scalpers.

Booked in May 2023 because the reviews were still good. The proximity to Salem was crucial. Unfortunately, the reality was different in October. Refugees seem to have become the main guests. Day and night the hallways were full of people sitting on the floor. The smells of food came into our room. When we entered our room the carpet was wet and dirty. The room was no longer cleaned either. We didn't feel comfortable. If we had more time, we would have changed hotels. Unfortunately not recommended.

We stayed there on New Year’s Eve for an event . Our hotel room smelled like cigarettes from the moment you opened door . We ended up leaving after a few hours . Second , they don’t provide you with complimentary water . .

I had a terrible experience at your hotel.Upon arrival the lobby had a bunch of people with no shoes on phones hanging out red flag, going to my room in the hallways it smells terrible like bad food , I opened my door and the fire alarm went off ( which I was told some kid pulled) I went down the stairs and people were hanging in stairwells went outside in the cold rain till fire fighters were done,in the meantime I was reading reviews of this hotel and a lot of them had the same experience saying it's a temporary housing shelterWhen I asked at the desks they very abruptly said everyone pays . Honestly I stay in hotels every week for work this was one of the worst experience ever !

We had to book last minute and didn’t get to see the place . When we drove up I was afraid to get out of the car. There were crackheads outside and people living in the parking lot. I would never ever let my kids stay there. I was afraid of human trafficking, that’s how sketch. We didn’t even go in. I was afraid for our lives. We scooted out of that lot real quick. We stayed up the road a bit instead. So much better. We tried to cancel because we booked it 10 minutes before we arrived but they refused to refund us. Figures. They’re obviously desperate for the cash. What a horrible experience. Stay at another hotel. I’ll never stay at another Holiday inn. I travel a lot and I have a lot of friends that travel and go up that way and we’ve put the word out to avoid it at all costs. Do not stay here!
