“A good place BUT the light in our unit has never worked consistently and now it has been completely dead for a year and a half. That means we rely on the hall lights---which go off after a few minutes when the motion detector detects no motion. So you have to go out of your unit (we have the largest) and into the hall and walk up and down and wave your arms. Meanwhile, the rent rate has gone up. We are told they will call in a repair person but we have to empty the middle of our unit. This isn't a great time for us to do that and will take some muscle. I just think the rent should not be hiked when there is a pretty major service issue.”

Mr. McCarthy visited us to provide an estimate for services we requested. (as opposed to the companies who wanted us to fill out an online form of what we had to move). Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. While the moving crew worked quickly, care was taken to avoid marring any walls or items being moved. There was a general atmosphere of good cheer that one felt from the crew.
There were no surprise charges; everything was upfront and exactly as discussed.
We wholeheartedly recommend McCarthy's Moving services.”

However, snow plowing seems to be an on going problem which is beyond the property managers control but the responsibility of Corporate who signs the contracts.Still here, Mike is great”

“The new owners, Sarah & Dan, are fantastic - they have breathed new life back into HTS and they know what they're doing. As long time customers of HTS before buying it, they have a good knowledge of what customers expect and need out of a storage service and it shows. Great communication, a friendly demeanor and white glove service for your vehicle. All I needed to do was drive my car into the garage and Dan took care of the rest - backing into place on the lift, putting the car cover on and hooking up the battery charger. At pick up this Spring, the car was ready and waiting to be driven away. Thanks Dan & Sarah! Keep up the great work - we need a family owned storage service on the South Shore that isn't a dealership.”

I’ve kept some delicate things here that needed temp control and everything’s remained in mint condition. Also everyone who works here has always been very friendly and helpful.
