I’ve been very sick this past week and have needed herbal support to boost my immune system. I contacted Sawmill and asked if they could ship their tea blends more quickly for me for this reason and I received them within a couple of days! Thank you so much for your kindness and extra effort towards my healing. It’s a beautiful thing working with small businesses - you reach real people who are compassionate & caring. I really appreciate it so much. Oh, and the tea blends are absolutely delicious. Will order again in the future. ?✨

I've had the total honor of receiving a CSA share from Sawmill for the past several seasons. Each year I've learned and enjoyed so much. I've been able to make and share teas, tinctures and salves thanks to the beautiful plants Susan and the team grow for us. Everything is always fresh and beautiful. Thank you!

This was the first year, I did the half-share and I loved it. the quality of the herbs was amazing. They arrived mostly overnight (I did 'ship to door) and were still very fresh. I was able to tincture a lot of fresh herbs and also hang some to dry. My SJW oil has a beautiful red color. Highly recommend!

Sawmill Farm has been such an important place for me to get the herbs that I need to make the herbal products I use for myself, my family, and that I sell. I know that when I receive the herbs I ordered they have been cared for and harvested with love and integrity for the plants themselves and the earth. This last year Susan added classes as part of the farms offerings which looked great! I look forward to taking a few this coming summer. I highly recommend buying your herbs from this farm and joining this community.

I absolutely love this farm, starting with Susan, the owner, who is greeting me personally every time I arrive there, helping me with advise on plants, and the plants themselves, are so fresh and vibrant. I have been csr share member for few years now and never have been disappointed. I receive my share at the location convenient for me, always fresh, so I can go home and proceed with my medicine making activities. I dry some herbs for the tea as well, and now, in the cold days I am enjoying aroma of Sawmill farm herbs in my cup ?

I have been a member of the Sawmill herbal CSA for 3 seasons and it is awesome! I get access to a wide variety of medicinal and culinary herbs grown in the beautiful Berkshires— there is always an abundance to share with friends and neighbors.The herbs are gorgeous and lovingly packed & delivered to a convenient location for pick-up in Brooklyn. Highly recommend!

There is nothing like Sawmill Herb Farm CSA! If you don’t know about it, what you are getting for an affordable investment for the growing season is high quality organically grown medicinal and culinary herbs in generous portions monthly or more frequently if you prefer, delivered to NYC (and other places). It’s an invaluable service I cannot live without as an urban herbalist. Susan and her team are amazing humans, which is reflected in the beautiful herbs they grow and distribute and the other offerings they share at the farm. I highly recommend joining whether you are new to herbal medicine or a seasoned herbalist. It’s all good!
