I really like this shop. I do a lot of window browsing because it is on the pricey side, but all of the items are quality and quirky, when I have a little extra I don't mind spending it here. There are many unique gift options (especially for those in your life who love animals and have an off-beat sense of humor). Great location on Main Street, I sometimes pop in here while I am waiting for a table at Jake's. Some of my favorite pairs of silly socks and cute greeting cards have come from this shop.

Cute shop with a large variety of jewelry, decor, books/journals, stationery, etc. Perfect place if you're looking for a gift but not sure what to buy.

Consistently carries an excellent selection of creative and fun products. One of the few stores that I browse even when I don't need anything. If you're looking for a gift and you want something nice this is the place.

This incredible shop no longer carried the work of an artist I had purchased from them in the past. But when I reached out to them asking whether I could still purchase this product from them, they were kind enough to put me in touch with the artist themselves, even though they didn’t make any sale. Talk about excellent customer service! I will absolutely be back to shop at Pinch.

Delayed review from 12/21/21 (forgot to post): I typically don't post reviews especially negative reviews in this climate that we are currently living in with the pandemic. But I was really upset by my interaction with one of the workers today at Pinch and don't plan on going back. I'm hoping this review can be used as a learning lesson for store and realize that their business relies on customer service. I came in today with my girlfriend looking for three different gifts for the holiday season. One of the gifts being for my hard to shop for mother in California. There were three workers at the front- a beautiful African American girl, one Caucasian girl with long blonde hair and another Caucasian girl with short bobbed brown hair. Truth be told, they weren't exactly the friendliest bunch upon entering the store. But I don't hold that against them as it was a pretty busy day being so close to Christmas. There was a ton of people in the store and they were being pulled in different directions. After cruising the store, I ended up finding a beautiful pair of earrings from my mom. When I approached the counter to look at the earrings, I asked for help and the girl with the bobbed hair came over. Upon looking at them I knew my mom would love them. My mom has a severe allergy to costume jewelry. Typically we buy her sterling or real gold. So I asked her, if the earrings were sterling silver and she told me they were. I believed her and told her I would take them. She took them out of the glass case and held them for me while I continued to shop. I ended up finding these cone planters for each of my two cousins. Each had a set of dried flowers in them. Note: there was only one tag stuck on the planter and the tag said something to the effect of "planter with plant" with a price tag of $32 bucks. So I assumed that the flowers came with each cone. I came up to the front desk and said I was ready to check out and inquired about wrapping. The girl with the long blonde hair informed me that the flowers were sold separately for $26. She said that she was going to go in the back to check for something in relation to the correct plant and left. Privately, I turned to my girlfriend mentioned that the tag was misleading. The girl with the bob overheard our conversation. I think what I said triggered her because she aggressively came up to us, interrupted our conversation and stated that if we were to look inside the cone, we would have seen that there's a tag also on the flower. She pointed to the wall and made mention to the planters that came with plants. My girlfriend and I awkwardly said we would go look and walked over to the wall. Now, I know it sounds like a minor interaction to be upset about but, the way she approached both of us, made us feel majorly uncomfortable. I'm a pretty reasonable person nor am I highly sensitive. Heck, I lived in New York for years. I can definitely take an abrasive tone. But it was very abrasive, the way she interrupted a private conversation that did not include her and was overall unpleasant. While we were looking at the plants, my girlfriend decided to Google the earrings from earlier. I think based on the prior negative interaction, it made her question the validity of information given. I honest to God don't know what made her do it. But turns out the earrings were indeed not sterling silver but sterling frond- which is listed on their website. This essentially means that there's about roughly 10% of materials that are made of other metals. This leaves the jewelry open to tarnishing and also means that someone who could be highly allergic should not wear them. These earrings were $72. So this would be a not cheap mistake and also an unreturnable mistake as she's in California. After the interaction and the misleading information, we decided to pass on everything. We just had a foul taste in our mouths and just felt for the price- we wanted a different experience. However I didn't want to leave without letting them know we were goi

Five stars for the selection. Two stars for the service. I walked in and love their selection of jewelry and home goods. After browsing for twenty minutes I bought a pair of home good items. I asked about the artist and she said she didn't know who it was. I asked if there was a way to find out and she again said she didn't know. I persisted and she offered to call. It's sad.

Finding a gift and home goods store with *truly* curated and unique artisanal finds is almost unheard of ... but here it is. Pinch is a fantastic and inspirational must-see shop in Northampton that is worth the trip no matter where you are. Shop them online as well, for a great convenient experience. I own several of their Carlos Silva pieces and couldn’t be happier with the customer service and the overall experience.

I usually always love this shop. Today I stopped in and even though there were no other customers in the store neither of the two works acknowledged me. Not a Hello or a Goodbye. I was disappointed to say the least. I will not be stopping in there again to search for gifts. Sad in today economy

Pinch has some sweet gift items! The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I always stop in when visiting Northampton to see what new and interesting items they might have, which would include jewelry, pottery, works of art and other surprises.
