“I’ve been shopping here for years. There is never a shortage of options for thoughtful, unique and often local gifts. The store is a delight to explore and it is owned and staffed by delightful humans.”

85 Chapel St, Needham“One of my favorite stores to buy gifts (for others and for myself)! Unique, beautiful, fun, gifts at a reasonable price ranging from houseware to bags and jewelry; good for Father's Days, Mother's Day, housewarming, birthday, baby showers and any other gift-giving occasion!I also did the decoupage shell making class (as a birthday gift for my sister). It was a fun and unique way to spend a Sunday. And if you haven't seen the decoupage shells that Hilary makes, they are beautiful! I loved getting to make them ourselves.Hilary -- the store owner -- is fantastic! She is creative and friendly and makes a lot of the items herself.”
“Excellent local spot for corporate gifts as well!I’m a lifelong Inman-ite and was very excited to work with them this year on office gifts. Mary and her team were so helpful and proactive with creating perfect gift bags for a team of 39. They rolled with every change I had to make and a pleasure to work with.Support local! Support Inman! Thanks so much albertine, I look forward to working with you again!”
“This store is amazing. If you’re even remotely a lover a maps, transit, cities, and railroad, you will struggle to leave without spending an unhealthy chunk of your salary. Totally worth it! You can spend an hour exploring their collection of stuff ?️”
“I have been looking for the perfect floorcloth for some time and none of the other online retailers had what I was looking for. No other retailers offer samples either. The product is gorgeous and the customer service was stellar! I am very picky and so delighted with both. I will absolutely come here first to look for more items for my home … great experience! Highly recommended!”
“Absolutely adore this store - it's been such a great addition to downtown Melrose! I popped in the other day to buy a gift for my aunt and was really impressed with the selection. Found something for her (a beautiful candle) and a few smaller things for my kiddos. Will definitely be back as I'm shopping for holiday gifts for friends, family, teachers, etc.”
“I always stop in for jewelry to see what they have. Great assortment of items for all of your crystal and calming needs. Staff is very nice and have always been able to help with any of my questions and needs.”
“This was a great place to host a birthday party. Dani communicated all details prior to the event. During the party, she adapted the painting for the kids and added fun mixed media elements. She was engaged with them for the entire two hours and gave great, clear instructions. Everybody went home with a beautiful finished product and two kids even said it was the best birthday party ever! Thank you so much, Dani.”
“We got our Ketubah for our wedding from Kolbo. We loved the selection and variety to choose from. The staff was so helpful and patient with us. We especially appreciated Miriam's help proofreading our ketubah before printing. On other trips, we also got our breaking glass and a gorgeous Havdalah set too.”
“Love this gift shop- great staff, great choice and great advice. I’ve been so happy with everything I’ve bought or received from here. Crafty a Yankee is a gem in Lexington!”

“Wonderful store, with an amazing selection of gifts, home goods, antiques, accessories, and more. Great service with employees who clearly care about the products, and do some of the best free gift-wrapping I’ve ever seen. A bonus: ask the shopkeepers about Nantucket baskets! This place also happens to be one of the best basket studios outside of the island. The owner is a master basket weaver who is well known on Nantucket.”

I left with things that I loved (all Pokemon products). There are a ton of Studio Ghibli things, so definitely stop by if you like that. I was surprised to see that they had Ponyo merch. “I've been a costumer to this amazing store for more than 12 years. And always loved it! Great selection of ideas for gifts, and the owners are super nice! So is the cashier who always greets you with a warm "hello". Reading Peter V. comments on here, saying that he was (or maybe more like THEY were - they, being a group of young kids) "chased out" of the store (with a fist) I'm certain that the reason the cashier had to ask them to leave the store was validated by the fact this GROUP of young teenagers were disrespectful to the store merchandise (were you there Peter V?), by trying on a few items and throughing them back in the shelves. Not just nicely placing the items back, they were actually throwing things like eye glasses and other things around after posing with the merchandise for pictures. Kids these days lack good manners. And that is not an acceptable attitude to be proud of... you may be a parent "protecting" your offspring, but first of all, good mannered we learn from home!”
10AM - 4PM
208 S Great Rd, Lincoln“I love going to the Audubon shop, there is so much to choose from. In my complex, we have quite a few young families; the children's section covers all a ages, and the sooner you get a youngster into nature the better for all of us. The staff is amazing, and are more than willing to aid you in some specific situations. The trails are easy, even for a geezer like me. Take your time, listen, look, feel the nature that surrounds you. Take pictures, leave with memories and if you see trash, pick it up. Above all, enjoy!”

“This shop is a gem in Roslindale! When possible, I tend to do most of my shopping locally. Spending money in there community ensures that is stays in the community. As the seasons change, so do the available items here. In the spring, I buy some seeds for the garden. The summer months have products more associated with that. As we head into autumn and winter, the focus shifts toward the holiday season. I always buy some Christmas gifts here for various family and friends. The store is always busy during Small Business Saturday and the holiday markets. They stock a variety of items such as cards, jewelry, home decor, clothing, and lots of localy-themed items such as coasters, towels, and glassware.Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and takes the time to talk with me. This is something that you generally don't get in a large chain store. In conclusion, this is a great store and comes highly recommended by me!”

The outside decor catches your eye! You want to go in with the window displays she does! Check this shop out!”

“Avery & Co. is a beautiful gift shop that has quality, variety and one of a kind pieces. Staff is friendly, helpful and will gift wrap your treasures as part of their service.”
“It's a great store and nice selection of products but a little pricy. I wait for the coupons to make my purchase and always visit their little mark area in the store as well.”
“My wife is much more of a pen and stationary enthusiast than I by miles, but I do appreciate nice pens, carry useful and well made EDC items and recently fountain pens.
The store could not be better stocked and more charming and the owner could not be more friendly and knowledgeable! My daughter even collects little mouse dollhouse toys they sell there each time we stop by… We live farther away now but always make time to stop by when we’re in the area!
These are the local shops and people we want to invest in for our neighborhoods!”
