Lovely setting but too expensive. Went for a weekend bite to eat at lunch time and spent $85 without even getting any alcohol for two people! We had a couple chicken sandwiches fries and apple cider. I don’t mind paying when it’s worth it but this just wasn’t it. I felt like I should have gone to Wendy’s for what we ended up getting.

$38 per person to go apple picking?? Highway robbery. Majority of places you pay per bag no per person. There are better places (honey pot) which is $38 for a large bag which is more than enough apples.

Really love this farm and have been coming for years, but spending $70 for myself and my partner for around 10 apples is highway robbery. I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to afford to visit any longer but it's clear they're more concerned with profit over experience at this point.

Stunning orchard farm with restaurant and large playground. The orchard is very beautiful, well-kept and produces excellent fruit, peaches, apples and pears. The brewery is very welcoming, the beers and food are very good. Very spacious interior with large, well-spaced tables. Very friendly staff and quick service. The cost is decidedly expensive, both for entry and for the products. However I recommend it.

Lovely experience and well worth the cost of admission! We were hesitant about visiting based on some of the other reviews describing the cost:experience, but I am beyond delighted to have come to Lookout Farm this weekend!
The bags that they give you do *seem* small, but I am looking at our haul right now and with two bags we have 18 peaches, 11 apples, and 3 pears. This was filling the bag full and to the handles but nothing as obnoxious as some of the other collectors we saw leaving with their arms full of fruit.
32 pieces of fresh fruit grown on a local farm for $50 is not obscene by any means. That's essentially $1.50 per piece of fruit. I think many could do well to evaluate other items that they spend equivalent or more money on before poopooing a local business full of friendly staff, beautiful scenery, and a serene atmosphere.
In addition to fruit picking we had fun wandering through the corn maze and around the property seeing the old farm buildings and machinery.
We stopped to eat at the restaurant once we finished picking our fruit and I was also pleasantly surprised by the menu options and costs. We had a peach smoothie and chicken tenders for less than $20. Fenway Park can only dream of such a value.
Overall, this was an awesome experience and I am so happy to find such a sweet little spot tucked just outside of the city. I will definitely be coming back!

BBQ meats were very dry. Good place for drinks but avoid the BBQ.

Went here for outdoor dining tonight and we were so disappointed. Over the past few summers, this was one of our favorite places to go eat with our kid. The outdoor location is beautiful, often with a view of sunset and/or moonrise. The food was good and our daughter would run around playing with other kids while we ate. They even had an Uncrustable on the menu, which we knew she would reliability eat if nothing else appealed to her.
Unfortunately, all of that has changed. We went tonight and it was nearly empty. The menu was much smaller and although we ordered things we've enjoyed in the past, the versions we received were not the same. The cheeseburger I got came wrapped in torn foil, looking sad and reheated and stuck to the bun. It was also incredibly dry and salty. My husband said his chicken sandwich tasted like fast food. The meal cost us $70 and was one of the worst I've had in a long time. (The one bright spot were the fries we ordered to feed the kid because there wasn't anything else she wanted.)
After a couple of years of coming here at any opportunity (we live half an hour away), we probably won't come back. I get that outdoor dining isn't as popular these days as it used to be but it's disappointing how dramatically bad it's gotten here.

I loved eating in the greenhouse! It was such a fun, unique, laid back atmosphere. Plenty of space for kids to meander. Food was good. Loved the picnic tables and the laid back vibe. The menu was vast, and the food and drink were consistently great. Even when the band was playing we could pick a table far enough away that we could enjoy the music and still converse.
I ate in the taproom for the first time last night. It was a horrible experience. It was WAY too loud (band was playing). I was literally talking so loud my throat hurt by the end of the night, I couldn’t hear what my friends were saying, my kids were literally covering their ears throughout dinner, and I left with a splitting headache. The food was meh. The only thing that was still enjoyable was the drink. I won’t be going back to the taproom anytime soon.

friendly staff is the best I can say. If you like basic meat meals and very loud surroundings, this is the place for you. It is not fine cuisine merely bar food, and not great bar food. Inside is bare bone decor, which wouldn’t be bad if it weren’t so loud .the trivia game especially, and music which bounces off those bear walls makes it impossible to hold a conversation . Won’t be back

Greenhouse has brewery vibes with picnic tables and light strings. Food is pretty solid. Very kid friendly and kids everywhere. Downside: porta-potties. Ate in the taproom this time. The BBQ was too salty to enjoy and the sides were tiny. Enjoyed the band.

Great comfort food, beer and cider. They do a very good job catering events on-site and take care of everything.

This place is expensive, $20 pp for end of season apple picking and
There are no areas you can walk on the premises if you don’t pay admission fee.
Very disappointed with the way business is conducted

I was told, by an employee, that the taproom would be open on Sunday, 11/12.
Sunday comes and they are not open. Called and was told that I should've checked with reservations to find out. I had to call 3 friends and tell them to meet me at a far superior and open establishment.
Oops. Buh-bye Lookout Farm. Ain't ever going there again.
See accompanying photo for the far superior establishment.

Just went to the Taproom at Lookout Farm for the first time last night. Food was amazing and what a great band playing. Bar was full of great people. Thank you
