We went here for a wedding. It was our first time here.It was a nice place. A large pavillion area for us to hang out until the wedding party was done with photos. There is a bar set up there along with restrooms. There was a large grassy area nest to the pavillion to sit under the trees.Once inside, the reception hall was big. There were 19 tables set up for this occasion! There was enough room between tables to get by each of them as well an aisle to get to the dance floor!The dance floor was a bit small but it didn't stop everyone from dancing even when the floor was bouncing up and down! Phew. I stayed on the sidelines. LOL.The wedding ceremony took place down the hill from the reception hall. The mown grass field was huge and could have held about 2,000 folding chairs. The gazebo was a little rough but it fit in with the gun club theme. There was a pond behind that which was a nice background for the gazebo.I would recommend anyone check it out for wedding and events!

You want rods? You want guns? This is the place for you. They've got both, in abundance. Jesus wept. Going to the Maynard Rod & Gun Club changed my life in unspeakable ways, but I'll try putting my experience into words. It's like dying & coming back to life, knowing a higher power has given you a second chance. I'd live here if they hadn't already arrested me for trespassing, and you should, too.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We just did our wedding here and it was truly amazing. Such a beautiful venue that the managers let us make our own. They were very accommodating with our requests and helped us with everything we needed. On top of renting the venue for the weekend, they handled bartending for the event itself and all for a very reasonable price. Totally worth every penny

I am a professional DJ and I had the pleasure of being part of a wedding at the Maynard rod and gun club. It's a wonderful spot to have your wedding. The ceremony takes place right beside the small pond that is behind the main building and the pavilion. The pavilion is the outdoor covered structure where the reception follows and part of the pavilion is restrooms and a snack bar and kitchen. The highlight of the entire celebration was Julie who I believe is the entertainment coordinator or the manager of Maynard rod and gun club and her personality is so upbeat and so kind and so nurturing and so helpful it made the entire difference between having an average ho hum wedding and a spectacular happy wedding day. Usually when I ask the bartender or manager if we can adjust the lights they are not happy to be bothered and they groan and obligatorily will help you once or twice and then you are usually on your own and they will not help you if the lighting needs to be adjusted. But Julie continued to ask me if the lighting was to our satisfaction and she adjusted it several times and each time she waited on somebody she would give them such kindness and such happiness and she was so upbeat it really did affect the entire tone of the event. Because of her and what she brings to this facility I would recommend this venue for a wonderful wedding experience. Just call ahead and make sure Julie will be on site running things on the day of your wedding :)

Recently went and helped celebrate my cousins wedding in the Pavilion! The space was perfect. Spacious access to restrooms and the lower field was great for 4 sets of Cornhole (a family favorite). Food was catered by The Pleasant Cafe....BBQ with all the fixings!!! High five to all who contributed to a wonderful night!
