I left my good working car for oil change, big mistake that I left it there over night because of my schedule. They called me next day that my car had many issues that need to be addressed. I said no thanks, and picked my car then shortly after I found my car got a lot of issues. Very dirty business practices. Will never never recommend anyone there. I told all of my friends about this shop already, and I do need to let everyone aware of them, here you go my review. If you do have work there please stay and watch them the whole process...pls..

Needed a new tire. Because last one I got there was a tragedy. Anyways the gentleman said he had 1 left. I never in my life would have paid $129.64 for a tire but there was a flood in Lynn that day, and there was no way I was getting to my other mechanic. Very rude front desk attendant. Because I explained what had occurred on the last tire I purchased there. I am seeking a lawyers advice for what occurred before. I got an oil change and my tires rotated. However a few days later I was traveling in the fast lane in Saugus on rt one South. My tire popped and I almost killed my girl friend because the tire shredded itself for no apparent reason. A technician from AAA came to the scene to bring my car to a body shop and to put on the spare. He stated that whoever put this tire on did it improperly and it wasn't secured and mounted on correctly. Therefore I took photos of my tire and you can see. Midas on the Lynnway in Lynn was the tire place that was responsible for this accident. When I told the manager the story he had nothing to say. No remorse or apology. This is an act of bad business, misleading certifications, false safety checks, and overall a letter to the better business bureau, the mayor of lynn, the president of Midas, and a lawyer to get back what was taken from me.

I brought a car in that I inherited from a deceased family member. The car had been parked for over a year so it was totally dead and I had to get it towed in. I explained why I was in Massachusetts and that I was only in town for Saturday and I planned on driving the car to Pennsylvania Sunday morning. The person I left my keys with in the morning assured me that they would inspect the car thoroughly and get it up and running after explaining all of that. Even the advertisement on the wall said they would check a list of things if you ask. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars and I had to take care of my deceased family member affairs on Saturday while Midas had the car so I didn't have time to fully inspect the car because they said they would do it. They got the car up on running 30 minutes before they closed. They told me the car was perfectly fine and it didn't need anything but the battery. The car got me home safely on Sunday but I noticed things from the time I left the shop till Sunday afternoon when I unloaded the car. I noticed the following:Needed Service.Needed Engine Oil.Needed Brake Fluid.Shop didn't screw in the battery after changing it.Missing spare tire (I wasn't told about this)Missing jack (I wasn't told about this)Looks like it's missing fuses.Even though the car got me home it's very scary to know that I could've ran out of engine oil, lose control of the brakes or got a flat that I could not replace 200+ miles away from home on a Sunday.

Staff was not very friendly or personable. I dropped my car off for an alignment then when I picked it up, the paperwork says they recommended a 4 wheel alignment. So, why not take some initiative and call me to make me aware?? Silly on their behalf....would have brought more money in.

I waited over an hour for an oil change, they forgot tire rotation, didn't check fluids then lied about it! Won't go there again! Manager had an attitude!

Sold me high end tires said they didn't have anything else at the warehouse. Hard to believe its a common tire size. I really needed it done and I am happy with the performance of the tires just needed paying a lot more than expected.

I really like this place, been here a few times for tire services and repairs. Love that they can usually fix any flats for free.

Overpriced, and charged me for an estimate that I already had told what the problem wasMessaged saying I got a quote from Meineke at 500$ to replace 2 parking cables , i wanted to get an estimate at Midas for how much is to replace the 2 parking cables because the car was not holding. guy at Midas said " car has to be looked at because sometimes it can be the boot or other things" comes back 2 hours later saying I needed to replace to parking cables ( which I already had told him that needed to be replaced) and also the parking break lever. Estimates at $889.49. I told him i was not getting it serviced there and he charged me $68.44 for "diagnose parking brake". paid and left. Brought it to another mechanic two days later and he showed me the parking lever is working fine, replaced only the 2 cables that needed in first place for 100$. Got the parts from mini Peabody for 150$ together. total $250. I just hate how you guys tried to scam me to try to fix a lever that was not even broken in the first place and had the audacity to charge a diagnosis when I provided you with the diagnosis.

I was extremely happy with the work they did. I was gonna get a transmission fluid change but the guy said not to do that, because my tranyMay goAnyways I was very happy because he saved me $300. I'm very happy because they were up front and honest with me. Thank you

Made an appointment at 11:00 for an oil change. Got there on time and had to wait 2 hours. When they were done I drove my car for a little and then my oil pressure light came on and said to stop the vehicle. They never put the cap back on and then never owned up to it and said it magically fell off. Had to tow it back. Never apologized and were not friendly. Terrible experience.
