Walked in today, out of state for work, and the two guys behind the register helped me locate a card my LGS's didn't have and a second card. We struck out on a third card they suggested but didn't have. An otherwise perfect visit.

I am trying to get into MTG and this game store is close so I checked it out. I went in and was trying to ask the one gentleman behind the counter about the commander decks they had and he sighed, rolled his eyes at me and talked to me like I was an absolute idiot for asking the question. I’m sure not everyone who works here is like that but I just turned around and walked out which was a shame because I was really looking forward to leaving with at least a deck or two

This place stinks. Selection is poor. The staff are rude, if they even talk to you at all. I have stood at the counter for 5 minutes looking to buy something only to be completely ignored causing me to just leave empty handed. Don't bother coming here.

Staff are very knowledgeable and are very nice to their regulars. I sadly don't live around the area anymore but I would highly recommend any new/current Magic: The Gathering players to check this place out! Wednesday Commander Night is amazing and so many people show up. I had a lot of fun there.

Just started getting into Magic the Gathering and X9 was super welcoming and got me up and running. Counter staff have been nothing but lovely and are knowledgeable about cards and board games. Great spot for a gift for a tabletop gamer or to get into gaming yourself.

I walked in a few days ago and wanted to see some cards well I did get to see what I wanted but the employee behind the counter was rude. He took out the pack from the display case and smacked it onto the display counter with an attitude. I suggest looking for another job if you are miserable. Otherwise, I have been in there a lot and have been treated very well, and with respect, I suggest corrective action for this employee or at least be notified.

I've been here a few times with my nephew who loves Pokémon. I've taken him to a few gaming stores in Western Mass/Connecticut, but this is his favorite, and he asks if I can take him every time he visits me. He likes that they have boxes of singles he can paw through rather than forcing him to use a website to browse, which isn't as fun for him. My nephew is very shy and doesn't always want to ask for help finding what he wants at the store, but they've always been very patient and suggest options he might like without trying to upsell him. Overall, we've always had a good experience and I would recommend X9 Games to anyone looking for a good LGS.
