There was a miscommunication about pick up time therefore they delayed service after drop-off a few hours. I work overnight so I got upset about it. I do however understand how it could have been misinterpreted. I asked when the latest I could pick up my vehicle. They said 5 pm. I was already told it would be about 2 hours for it to be finished.. I nonverbally decided 5pm was too early for me to go to sleep ,because I work 3rd shift. It was.much easier for.me to stay up a few hours and wait for it to be finished. I simply said okay give me a call when it's finished. They took that to mean I was willing to wait until 5pm so they did not even start my 930 am appointment until well after noon. The original time was 9am but told them 930 was okay after they called me and said they had already filled my slot.

We will not be using this dealership for services or purchasing vehicles ever again. We brought our 4 year old car purchased new from Salvadore in 2020 to the service center. The car is still covered under the extended warranty but we were told by the gentleman at the desk in the service center that our vehicle was not covered under warranty so my wife went back the next day to pick up the car as we weren’t going to have it serviced out of warranty by Salvadore. Upon arriving, my wife was told by the other staff member at the service desk that our car was in fact still covered under the extended warranty like we thought. Even though we were frustrated that my wife wasted a trip back there to find out something we already knew, we decided to proceed with the service and the car was diagnosed with a bad AC compressor which we expected. We took the car home after the official diagnosis and they said they would be contacting us when the part arrives to setup a repair date. They didn’t contact us when it was in. I had to call them the next week and ask if the part was in. They told me it had not arrived yet and then they put me on hold to find out it actually had already arrived. A couple days later after they were under the hood and diagnosed the AC compressor our engine starts overheating which it had never done before. When we brought it in for the AC compressor replacement they diagnosed the car with a bad radiator leak which would need to be replaced as well. On the day of the repair we were told both the AC compressor and radiator replacement might be complete by the end of the day so we planned to pick it up the next day. My wife stopped by around 10:30 AM the next day to find out the car wasn’t complete and they hadn’t even begun replacing the radiator yet and it was sitting in the parking lot. We told them we needed the car completed around 3:00 PM as we have an event we need to be at by a certain time. We arrived at 4:00 to find them pulling the car out of the service area completed. We were told it would take about 5 minutes to get the paperwork pulled up for payment. 30 minutes later and we’re still waiting to leave as the staff at the desk is taking phone call after phone call with us being the only customers there waiting. I asked the gentleman that was just sitting at his desk in the service center if he could ring us out and he said it would probably take him 27X longer to try and ring us out than his co worker that was taking all the phone calls, processing paperwork and doing everything under the sun. Very disappointing to say the least. It seems like they have one staff member pulling all the weight trying to process everything on her own. I would not recommend this dealership or service center for your vehicle

My husband and I have serviced all three of our vehicles here multiple times and have been happy. Unfortunately, the most recent time was extremely disappointing. We made an appointment for our Tahoe to go in to have the AC fixed, among a few other issues. We clearly communicated over the phone and in person multiple times that we needed the vehicle to be ready for pick up by end of day or first thing in the morning latest, to be used for a trip the following day. Instead, they did not start our vehicle until 3 PM and they told us that they could have it ready by 10 AM the next morning. When my husband got there at 10 AM it was still not ready. They caused us a delay in our trip and we had to rearrange our entire schedule on top of having a new baby. Very disappointed that they did not respect wishes or prioritize our appointment. I’m not sure what the point of making an appointment is when they barely got anything done the day of the appointment. We will be looking to service all of our vehicles elsewhere after this experience.
Edit: We worked with Rich who was extremely apologetic which we appreciate. Unfortunately, the car was still not done when we were told it would be, and they offered us a rental for free, but did not have the proper rental available that was necessary for our trip. We are not disappointed that the car was not done, we are disappointed with the lack of communication on their part when we communicated extensively on our part. Had the communication been better and they were more realistic and honest with us about the car not being able to be done for the trip, all of this could have been avoided. Rafael gave my husband a ride home which was thoughtful and appreciated. As we have been happy with other service, I am altering my stars to 2 but we hope this is a learning lesson for them to better communicate with clientele in the future.
Second update: We were told on Friday, the second day that the car was in the shop, that the car would be done Saturday and that they would call us with an update. After being open until 4 pm, we never heard from them with an update. Now we have to go in to our work week with absolutely no update as they are closed Sunday. This is absolutely beyond unacceptable. They were given a chance to *somewhat* redeem themselves and they, once again, dropped the ball entirely. I would give negative stars if a could. We will never be returning and will make sure anyone in the area knows how poorly the service department is run here.
Final update: The car was ready on Monday and they gave us a 15% discount as well as dropped the car off at home for us. We appreciate the effort and discount, but ultimately this wasn’t about money - it was about hoping for better communication and customer service. They told my husband that they wanted to change the review, but frankly, if they wanted to a manager or even the owner would have called to follow up and touch base. As my husband owns a successful business, we know what going above and beyond to please the customer means and sadly they did not do that. We believe in second chances so we will see how we feel the next time one of our vehicles needs work, but it is likely we will not be returning.
