My niece was just there to get her personal taxes done and they charged her $500!!!! That’s absurd! I am so appalled and really upset that they overcharged her that much. Don’t got there!!

Typically whe it comes to a service by a chain company the quality is watered down. Not here! I have extremely challenging tax documents from multiple streams of income and i got everything filed with maximum write offs and at a great price with great service. I don't just recommend this branch for w2 workers wanting a quick refund, but small business owners as well. Dont forget they are typically open one day a week during the off season, and helped me take care of a late messy tax return with ease!

If I could go lower, I would. I'm usually very forgiving and understanding of mistakes, but Liberty Tax and it's associates were extremely unprofessional. At our original appointment, we explained that TurboTax said we would owe money and that we didn't think that was right. The tax rep assigned to us said that they thought we could get more but couldn't do it all tonight and needed to confirm with their supervisor. Throughout the process they made comments about our income, how it was more than she made, how all children have hospital bills, and comments about how much we spent on our recent home. We got a call a week or so later saying that they had great news, instead of owing money we would be getting money back. Score! All we had to do is go in and sign our documents and we would be good. After we sign and we're ready to file, our tax rep calls THE DAY BEFORE TAXES ARE DUE, and says that a mistake was made and TurboTax was right. ???????? Why would I spend money on a service that doesn't provide anything better than a free service does? When going back in, we were understanding and signed to refile but I mentioned being stressed about the financial burden this put on us as we had additional bills. Our tax rep then told me "not to worry" and that the interest rate was minimal at best, so to just pay it when we could. As we're going through our mail, I see a notice from the IRS that we are subject to a 50% interest rate on the amount we owe because we haven't paid yet.Overall, Liberty Tax was unprofessional, rude, and didn't provide anything different than TurboTax other than headaches. If you need to file I would go literally anywhere else.
