Our experience with Duvarney was nothing less than perfect! We brought in an Alexandrite to get mounted and Steve was patient with me and all of my questions while I picked out the band. He listened and expanded on the direction I wanted to go and did not try to sway me into something else. Knowledgable, professional and genuine. Thank you! ?

As a first time buyer with a clear picture of what I wanted for a very important question, I was very lucky to walk into Duvarney in Fitchburg.I met with five jewelers across central Mass in total, and the other four were all high pressure situations. At Duvarney, they listened instead of selling. Not only did they listen, they made it work. I'm grateful I found them. Straight talk, very responsive. and great people.I highly recommend them.Oh, and my spouse was very happy.

My fiance walked in with workout clothes today to get an appraisal to see how much some jewelry was worth and was met by a rude woman who couldn't be bothered. She claimed 7 people were in front of us and she had no idea when they would be able to see us. She was very dismissive and the customer service was terrible. She judged a book by its cover and lost a good client. We will take our business elsewhere

I recently moved to Leominster and needed to find a new jeweler. I picked Duvarney because of its high rating. The area didn't look like much but the store is clean and bright. There’s easy parking in a free public lot or along the street in front of the store. The owner, Steve, is professional and extremely customer oriented. Each visit I was greeted right away. One time my meter was running out and I didn’t have more change. I asked to have change for a dollar and instead he just gave me two quarters, which surprised me. Who does that? He helped me choose a gemstone in my price range. I was afraid to tell him what I was willing to pay because I’ve been taken advantage of before with an upsell. But Steve kept the price within my budget and I was surprised when it was a few hundred dollars less! The transaction went well and it was a positive experience with all the small little things. BTW, I wasn’t a big spender so the service wasn’t because of that.?

We were so happy with our experience! I brought my grandmother's ring in and wanted to reset the stone into a new ring. I'm so happy with the results and can't wait to choose my wedding band!

I some how broke my diamond wedding band which has not been off in 30 years. I was prepared to purchase a replacement but Steve said it could be repaired. When I got it back it looked brand new!Great place for some really nice pieces.

Fantastic experience. I worked across the street for years and had been in for watch batteries and gifts in the past. I now live in Ct and recently got engaged. We had a family heirloom we wanted to use to make the engagement ring. We drive up to mass to specifically work with them. I showed Steve a photo of what I had in mind and he flipped right to a page in a catalog of the almost identical ring. He used the diamond from the heirloom piece and set it in the ring. I picked it up yesterday and it was beyond what I had expected. The ring is gorgeous. Everyone is blown away at the design. We received friendly, knowledgeable service and got exactly what we were looking for. Already planning to return for the wedding bands and a custom piece. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a jeweler.

I had wanted a third opinion on a jewelry appraisal for insurance purposes. I have two from reputable dealers in Metro-West (Maynard and Sudbury). I decided to seek an opinion from a local shop. As I arrived there was one departing customer. I approached the salesman and introduced myself and described my need. I was informed that although they offer this service that they were unable to offer service to me because until right now thru the holidays they are just too busy. Maybe in mid-January check back and it would take 2 to 3 weeks. I thanked him for speaking with me and departed. Thinking this odd I contacted my insurance agent and mentioned the encounter. His response was that he felt the guy was just brushing you off. A reputable appraisal would include obtaining the insurance assessment form as well as describing the process and associated cost. I can't make a comment on whether this was the case, but it seemed from the start; there was no intention of willingness to assist me. I will submit the two assessments I have and stay clear of this shop in the future. Also of note; there were no other customers in the store and probably for good reason.

Friendly and knowledgeable people selling great jewelry and watches. I've been a customer of theirs for 18+ years, buying several watches for myself and also rings and earrings for my wife. The knowledge they share lead to an awesome shopping experience- something very rare these days.
