“This is a very unprofessional place with workers who don't really seem to care, with a few exceptions of very kind and welcoming employees. This place has been ripping me off since I started going there (since it was the only convience store near me. Every time I would buy something from them, 70% of the time, the item would ring up as a completely different price (always higher by at least 50 cents) than what it would say on the price tag. For example, just now, I went in there to buy syrup. It said $2.50. They charged me $3.60. As a person who is already struggling financially, I'm really pissed off. And most of the time, there's only one cashier, even when there's a line going through the aisle. This all needs to stop.”

“I sure hope these folks can pull through. I shop at the location in Lynn MA on Boston street. This is the one that actually made it - the one on the Lynnway closed a couple of years ago. First of all, I get it. They have had to raise prices. As long as they are actually priced before I get up to check out, I don't mind. But they haven't been getting in new shipments for a while *(Covid, supply chain issues I suppose), and all the food was stale and overpriced. Marked up. Finally, last week, they got a new shipment of Sam's club cheese and dairy items. As I was checking out, the items were warm, they mentioned the coolers were failing. Their internet was also down, so I couldn't use my EBT to check out, so I abandoned a cart worth $26. I came back the following week, most of the cheese was sold, but the remaining refrigerator cases were 100% not working and there was food inside that was actually molding in front of my eyes. (see pictures)That being said, in the days when this place was a HOT TAMALE you could get Smoked Salmon, Shrimp, Cod, Amy's organic dinners, and a bevy of other totally awesome frozen foods for $1. I don't mind paying $1.50 or $2 if they can fix the freezers, clean up and get back to where they used to be. The staff are also very helpful and a nice melting pot of folks. I've stood up for them when the R-word people come around to try to disrespect them for raising their prices. Dollar Zone, please take care of this store - we all miss it! I stopped in here to get some bath products and their selection was good and plentiful....I guess with any dollar store, it all depends on when you visit and if the truck had just delivered the day before...that is usually the best bet for selection.I usually ask the staff what day of the week do they get deliveries and most of the time, they tell me (usually twice a week)...sometimes....they just don't know...Most items are $1.25, but nothing is OVER that price point.”
“Feb2023: 5: I would recommend this location at this time. I stopped by this location as a result of family members wanting to go to a Dollar tree for some items. I noticed that there was available handicap parking in front of each of the stores here available upon my arrival. This parking lot also had additional general parking spaces available in the area. There appears to be significant space for a large vehicle to move through the parking lot without difficulty. This business site features two additional businesses that would seem to complement the Dollar tree being in this area. I am not from this area and thought that this specific store couldn't be any different from the ones that I've been to previously. As I entered the store, I noticed that it was different from some of the other ones that I had been accustomed to entering on a regular basis in the south. This location reminded me of some that I had seen inside the city when I was in Baltimore that featured a lot of food items as well as some regular department store type items. There was a large selection available in the store to choose from while shopping. I was able to get in and out without any issues and I found everything on my list as well.”
